Corey Simms’ Dad Gushes Over Daughter-In-Law Miranda, Shares ‘Teen Mom 2’ Filming Photo

Corey Simms and his family are currently filming the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, and on Tuesday night, his father shared a photo of himself and Simms’ second wife, Miranda, mid-production.

On March 10, Jeff Simms posted the photo of himself and Miranda on his official Instagram account, gushing over her beauty and confirming they were filming Season 6 for MTV.

“My beautiful daughter in law, Miranda, and me doing some reality work this evening.”

Corey Simms has been featured on MTV for years. In 2010, he and his former wife, Leah Messer, welcomed twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, as cameras rolled for 16 & Pregnant. Months later, they signed on to appear on Teen Mom 2, which followed them as they raised their kids, and attempted to juggle their respective careers with their relationship.

Although Corey Simms eventually wed Messer, their marriage came to a screeching halt after Messer admitted to cheating on Simms with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, just hours before they wed.

In the years since Simms and Messer’s divorce, they have both remarried. In April, 2012, one year after their split, Messer married her now-husband, Jeremy Calvert, and in June, 2013, Simms walked down the aisle with Miranda.

While Corey Simms and Messer have moved on from their troubled relationship, they continue to struggle, both with co-parenting and with keeping their own relationship civil.

As the Inquisitr reported at the end of last year, Messer put Corey Simms and Miranda on blast on her Facebook page, claiming that while the Simms may appear to be the perfect couple, they are far from it.

“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that’s all I’m going to say. [sic]”

Also in the Facebook post, Messer spoke out about a custody hearing between her and Corey Simms, which had taken place days prior.

“As far as the status on our court hearing … I am very happy with the results and will talk about it very soon. I think the results were in my daughters BEST interest. This is all I’m going to say in regards to all the craziness being post on their page as well as any other page.”

Corey Simms returns to MTV in Teen Mom 2 Season 6, which is expected to air later this year.
