What Happened To Deirdre Magolon? Missing Woman’s Car Found Abandoned

Authorities in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, are looking for Deirdre Magolon. The 20-year-old woman has now been missing for three days, and her loved ones are concerned. The Morning Call reports that she may have had car trouble prior to disappearing, because her car was found abandoned on an expressway over the weekend.

Deirdre’s loved ones say that they last saw her on Friday evening at around 6:40 p.m. She was reportedly leaving her home in Royersford in her black Mazda — which was later located on the Schuylkill Expressway later that night. It was approximately 11:30 p.m. when her car was found abandoned. She was nowhere in sight.

The Daily Mail reports that she did not have a cellphone on her when her car presumably broke down while she was traveling on the expressway. So authorities, and her loved ones, have no idea what she did or where she may have gone — if she may have traveled away on foot, or if she signaled for a ride by hitching.

Here it is three days later, and Deirdre Magolon remains missing. She has not reached out to any of her friends or family members, nor has she been spotted by anybody in the area. The missing woman reportedly stands at around 5’5? and is of average to slim build, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket with fur detail, but other information about what she was last seen wearing is not currently known.

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System database, there are at least 136 women missing in the state of Pennsylvania. Some of these disappearances include high profile cases, such as the high profile disappearance of Kortne Stouffer out of Palmyra — approximately an hour away from where Deirdre was last seen — and the disappearance of Toni Sharpless, who also disappeared from an area very close to where Magolon is currently missing.

Currently the hashtag #DeirdreMagolon is being used on Twitter and Facebook to share information about the case, including news and comments made by those who are from her community or who are close to her. The Royersford community is pulling together to search for this missing woman, but where could she be?
