Woman who was caught breast-feeding while driving breast-feeds again during TV interview [VIDEO]
A woman pulled over for breast-feeding her baby while driving is now facing charges of child endangerment. The same woman started breast-feeding her baby during a TV interview about the incident.
Police say Genine Compton had the baby in her lap while she was driving her other children to school in the city of Kettering, Ohio last week. Officers report she was also talking on her cell phone.
“If my child’s hungry, I’m going to feed it,” Compton said during an interview with a Dayton-area television station.
She then started breast-feeding her baby. On-camera. During the interview. We’re not making this up.
Video follows. Compton could face up to 180 days in jail from the charges.

how old is that baby?

While it is ridiculous that she would endanger such a small child by doing what she did, the police can't give her a ticket if they didn't see it happen.
I find her obnoxious, but her point is valid.

Breastfeeding your baby while driving and talking on the cellphone is unbelievable and illegal. Breastfeeding while being interviewed on television–so? Would you be giggling “We're not making this up!” if she'd just handed the kid a cracker?

I would like to know who will breast feed her baby while she is in jail?
Can't fix stupid!!

umm….how old is that child and they still need to breastfeed?????

Regardless of Ms. Compton excuse, there is absolutely no reason to be so callous as to endanger her kids and other drivers. She deserves nothing short of a short jail stint to see if that would make her understand the severity of her action. Also appears she has no control of her child. The one who phoned in is to be commended.

Wow. How horribly dangerous for her child!! I'm all for breastfeeding, but come on lady!! If she's that hungry, PULL OVER and then feed her.

Lock her up, how ignorant. And lock Jerremy Assmore up as well, to say the police have to witness this to issue a ticket is like saying a murderer can't be arrested if no police see the murder.

This is her 5th kid and apparently can't tolerate the sound of fussy, crying children? Apparently this woman is also so stupid she doesn't know where babies come from and is too stupid to practice birth control.

The WHO recommends breastfeeding until a minimum of 2 years old. The AAP recommends a minimum of 1 and “as long after as mutually desired”. So the kid is not to old by any medical definition. Grow up guys. Breasts are dual purpose.
What the woman did in her car is beyond stupid, and she should definitely be charged. But during the TV interview? Big deal, she covered herself appropriately. THEY wanted the interview in HER home. If her kid is hungry, she has the right to feed it IN HER HOME. They could have stopped filming but really, it's just a kid eating and you can't even see anything.

I live close to Kettering & when I heard this story on the morning news, I was flabbergasted!! It's dangerous enough to drive while talking on a cell, but doing that PLUS breastfeeding…totally UNbelievable! She put not only herself, but all the kids, & everyone else on the road in danger…How dumb can you be??? She definitely needs punished, if only to see her own stupidity.

Looking at the size of this baby, I think the baby is around three years of age! you agree?

This chick needs a bottle – you think
If a baby has teeth – then it needs to come off the tit
They do make breast pumps

Wow just wow. The stupidity is just over flowing. I mean is it really that hard to pull over for a minute and feed?
