Tamra Barney Gets Heartbreaking News: Pulmonary Embolism Rattles Family

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney has definitely had a roller coaster of a month in February. Not only did she become a grandmother, but she also lost parental custody of her daughter, Sidney. Clearly, it has been a complete roller coaster for Tamra, all while filming the newest season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

But it sounds like the bad news isn’t over for Tamra Barney. Barney became a grandmother just a month ago, but the troublesome pregnancy isn’t over for Sarah Rodriguez. Even though she did give birth to her daughter Ava, Sarah is still struggling with post-birth complications. Apparently, Sarah is currently in the hospital.

According to a new Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney got the heartbreaking news that Sarah was diagnosed with blood clots after she gave birth. She has been admitted to the hospital with pulmonary embolism.

“Please God watch over her,” Tamra revealed on her social media, adding, “She has 3 large blood clots in one lung and 2 in the other. She also has some swelling around her heart.”

Clearly, this is not something this family wants to deal with. This should be a time of celebration and Sarah should be at home with her newborn daughter and Ryan Vieth. But it sounds like Sarah will pull through, despite the horrible diagnosis.

“Praise the lord my mommy is gonna be okay. Prayers have been answered. Ultra sound of @sarahrod77 heart came back perfect. They are giving her blood thinners for the clots and she gets to go home from the hospital soon. Thank you for all your messages,” Tamra Barney revealed later on Instagram.

Tamra Barney and Eddie Judge live in Orange County, whereas Sarah and Ryan live in Northern California. Ryan moved here to be with Sarah last year prior to them announcing their pregnancy. So, one can imagine that Tamra wants to be with her son as he deals with her hospitalization.

According to the Inquisitr, Barney has settled her custody battle with Simon Barney. Their daughter Sidney will live with Simon, while visiting her mother a few times a month. While this was heartbreaking for Tamra, she has accepted the ruling and is now looking forward to the future.
