There is plenty of big news for Mortal Kombat fans. The latest game, Mortal Kombat X, is expected to release on April 14. EventHubs has been adding move listings for Mortal Kombat X to the moves database. This site includes the special move quick lists for 12 of the 14 characters that are found on the character select screen on the recent Kombat Kast.

So far, the move listings includes all of the characters except for D’Vorah and Goro. EventHubs said that they will add more special moves to their database as they’re announced. Once the PC and console version of the Mortal Kombat X game officially releases, gamers can expect to find a full moves section.

Cinema Blend reported that two classic characters would be added to the upcoming Mortal Kombat X game. Kenshi and Johnny Cage will make a return to the popular video game. This will be great news for gamers, since Kenshi and Johnny Cage are reportedly favorites.

IGN was able to pull quotes and information from an interview that was found on YouTube. The interview was when NetherRealm Studios’ senior producer Adam Urbano revealed the classic characters that would make a reappearance in Mortal Kombat X.

“You’ll get to play as Johnny Cage, but we’re also showing Cassie Cage, who is the daughter of Sonya and Johnny… You’ll get a chance to see Kenshi and a chance to see a couple more.”

After finding out that Kenshi’s descendent was going to join the Mortal Kombat X roster, fans thought that Kenshi himself should make a return.

Urbano also hinted that other familiar faces and classic characters will make a return to Kombat X. It’s unclear whether the characters will be playable or if they’ll just be background fodder for this new story. NetherRealm Studios is reportedly teasing fans and taking time revealing the remaining roster of the playable characters for Mortal Kombat X.

GeekSnack revealed most of the characters that will make the roster.

“Among the confirmed returning characters we find the likes of Kano, Raiden, Reptile, Kitana, Quan Chi, Kung Lao, and Ermac. All these veterans have been announced by the developers during various gaming events or trailers, although some of them have been leaked prior to any official announcement.

Finally, Mileena will also be returning as a playable fighter if the most recent story trailer is anything to go by, Goro will be available as a pre-order character and earlier today during GDC 2015.”

The gaming news site also gave fans a glimpse at the new characters that will take place in Mortal Kombat X.

“First off, we have three completely fresh faces in the form of Kotal Khan, D’Vorah, and Ferra & Torr … Even more interesting, in Mortal Kombat X we’ll get the opportunity of meeting and playing as four characters that are direct descendants of some of the series’ most well known veterans. Specifically, we have Cassie Cage, daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, Takahashi Takeda, son of Kenshi, Jacqueline Briggs, daughter of Jax, and Kung Jin, descendant (possibly cousin) of Kung Lao.”

Mortal Kombat X will be made available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and on mobile devices that run iOS and Android, according to the Inquisitr. The mobile version is reportedly free for fans to play. Mortal Kombat X is expected to be a highly anticipated release. Are you looking forward to this new game?
