Jill Duggar Dillard Hits 37-Week Mark: ’19 Kids And Counting’ Grandmas On Hand As Due Date Nears
Within the next couple of weeks or so, Jill Duggar Dillard’s first baby boy should be arriving. The 19 Kids and Counting star has hit the 37-week mark and she celebrated the milestone with some quality family time. Jill’s hubby, Derick Dillard, shared the fun with followers via Instagram.
Derick posted a picture that showed him with Jill as well as her mom, Michelle Duggar, and his mom, Cathy Dillard Bynum. Both moms have a hand on Jill’s baby bump and Derick noted that they were hanging out with the grandmas. He added the hashtags “best grandmas,” and one noting that Jill is 37 weeks pregnant now.
19 Kids and Counting fans know that Cathy has battled fiercely against cancer this past year, though the latest updates from the family indicate that she is doing very well now. Everybody is thrilled to see that she can be present for these last weeks of Derick and Jill’s pregnancy and hopefully be right by their side as they welcome their baby boy.
Derick, 25, and Jill, 23, are sharing their pregnancy with fans in the new season of 19 Kids now airing new episodes every Tuesday night. So far, fans have seen Jill and Derick share the news with the family and start some early preparations.
The couple has shared that they are planning to do a home birth and they have a team of midwives and family members ready to help. Jill’s sister Jana, notes People, will be right there by her side helping and other family members will be running errands as needed.
Of course, it will be some time yet before 19 Kids and Counting fans get to see it all play out on TLC. As TV Guide notes, the next episode will feature Johannah’s ninth birthday party and Michelle’s high school reunion. Naturally, there will also be some time spent following Jill and Derick, as well as Jessa’s wedding planning, as in these episodes currently airing her big day is right around the corner.
Jill and Derick have had a wild year, just recently sharing the first anniversary of their big meeting when he returned from Nepal. In this past year they’ve courted, gotten engaged, wed one another, and have made it almost all the way through their first pregnancy. 19 Kids and Counting fans are definitely on high alert for the news of Baby Dilly’s arrival, as he could come at any point now.
