Real Housewives Of New York: Season 7 ‘Sneak Peek’ Videos And Interviews

Anticipation has grown for the new Real Housewives of New York season. With tensions so high, April 7 can’t get here fast enough.

As can be seen on Bravo, these New York housewives should all have “Drama” as their middle or even maiden names. Have you ever seen women so dramatic? Well, that’s what people seem to like. And the drama is supposed to amp up several notches this season.

In an interview with Andy Cohen, he was asked how this season differs from the previous Real Housewives season. His response is as follows.

“You know what, people were freaking out because ‘Oh my God! There’s eight housewives. Is that too many??’ For some reason, it just works. It doesn’t feel like there’s too many women. You’re just kinda’ following wherever the action is. And you know everybody, except Dorinda.

Dorinda fits right in, because she’s old friends with Ramona. She knows Heather, from the Berkshires. She has a huge house in the Berkshires. So, she fits in quickly and easily. It just feels great.”

As you know, the Love & Hip Hop reunions usually have an audience in attendance, as they’re pretty dramatic. Well, when asked if he would ever consider having an audience for the Real Housewives of New York, Cohen responds as follows.

“Eh. Probably not. It takes hours and hours, and it’s really emotional. You know, there’s a reason why it’s edited down so much. Sometimes, we just beat conversations down to a pulp. People are frustrating. It’s exhausting. So, it’s better edited.”

That’s understandable. The reunions are somewhat reminiscent of old Jerry Springer episodes. And all you can really do is sit back and watch as people’s hairs are pulled out or people’s faces are spat on so disrespectfully. It can be an emotional trip. However, some people thrive on that.

On a lighter note, during the interview — and as it also mentions in the sneak peek — Daryn Carp, Cohen’s assistant, asks a question from curiosity.

Real Housewives of New York City‘s sneak peek just came out. It looks awesome. And I just need to know for my own sake: ‘Do Carol and Bethany go Downtown-Julie-Brown’?”

Supposedly, you’ll have to wait until April 7 and watch these housewives do their thing, so to speak.

As a bit of temptation, here’s the RHONY interview with Andy Cohen. Word of caution: don’t watch it if you don’t want any other spoilers.

So, what are your thoughts about the new Real Housewives of New York season? The sneak peek can be seen below. Be sure to share your thoughts in the comment session. Spark a conversation.
