Kelly Clarkson On Justin Guarini As Her Man: ‘You Can’t Fight It!’

Kelly Clarkson threw it all on the table about Justin Guarini during an interview with Andy Cohen. It seems that From Justin to Kelly had more to it than was believed. How about that?

In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Cohen asked Clarkson about the rumored relationship.

“Last year, Justin Guarini made some comments about his one-man show, ‘Love Sick,’ that you two had a fling going on during your feature film, ‘From Justin to Kelly.’ Set the record straight. What happened between the two of you? Second base? Anything?”

Kelly responded in laughter as she explained the situation.

“We didn’t date during [‘American’] ‘Idol,’ which everybody thought we were dating. We did date during… I feel like we weren’t dating during the movie. [But] We did date a little bit. I think any two people who are thrown together that much [would date]. ‘Timeless’, you put that song on from ‘Justin and Kelly’. You can’t fight it!”

It seems that later in the interview, Clarkson did a slight boyfriend-reenactment scene with the talk show host after stating that she, literally, cried for hours on the phone with the producers of the Justin and Kelly movie. Kelly states that she actually didn’t want to do it.

After watching the show, Kelly’s old fling responded, as can be seen in the above tweet. He’s a good sport, it seems. Clarkson definitely added her hilarity to the mix. Like the movie, Kelly exhibited a bit of “teen movie” acting at its finest. It’s funny how time flies, seeing that the aforementioned movie is over a decade old.

All in all, it appears that Clarkson’s interview with Cohen went well and was a fun time. It’s not like there was any major tension in the room or, at least, it wasn’t perceived anyway. Come on, they were drinking wine. However, surely that was to loosen her up so that she’d be more compelled to speak freely. Nice “welcoming,” right?
