Nathan Griffith Begged ‘Teen Mom 2’ Crew To Defend Him During Arrest?

Nathan Griffith reportedly begged MTV crew members to redeem him prior to his arrest on Wednesday evening. According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star was caught trying to convince staffers to intervene as police took him from his South Carolina home.

On March 6, a source living in the couple’s neighborhood spoke to Radar Online, revealing the following of Nathan Griffith’s arrest.

“I heard him talking to what seemed to be a camera guy when he got arrested asking him to tell the cops that he didn’t do it. He said ‘come on man tell them I didn’t touch her. I didn’t do anything. You know man I didn’t do anything…I never touched her.'”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Nathan Griffith was arrested on March 4, following a heated argument with Evans. Although the couple has yet to speak out on the reason behind their feud, sources claim Griffith was unfaithful.

In an E! News report, a source alleged Nathan Griffith had admitted he had been seeing someone behind Evans’ back for two weeks.

Nathan Griffith began dating Evans in June 2013, just two months after she split from then-husband Courtland Rogers. Within the first three months of their relationship, Nathan Griffith and Evans began living together, and Evans conceived their first child. Nine months later, in June 2014, their son, Kaiser, was born. In the months that followed, Nathan Griffith and Evans appeared to be doing well, and in January of this year, he proposed to the reality star while on vacation in St. Thomas.

Unfortunately, things have gone down hill since Nathan Griffith’s proposal.

In the last two months, Nathan Griffith and Evans have been feuding regularly, and sometimes, they’ve even done so on Twitter. Most recently, Griffith was caught talking to VH1 star Stevie Ryan behind his fiancé’s back – and that’s not all. Griffith actually bashed Evans to Ryan, and admitted the pair had gotten physical during one of their fights. He also referred to Evans as “chunky,” and claimed he wanted her to start taking steroids.

In addition to his comments to Radar Online, the neighbor of Nathan Griffith shared a photo of his arrest, along with the caption below.

“So ‘Teen Mom 2’ star’s fiancé was arrested yesterday…I took this pic while my daughter was out riding her bike. They’re my neighbors but probably not for long. #teenmom2 #drama #staged.”

Nathan Griffith will return to MTV in Teen Mom 2 season six later this year.
