Police Officer pleads not guilty to assaulting 15 yr old girl. Video shows otherwise

assault

A police officer in Seattle has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a 15 year old girl in custody, despite footage showing him dishing out a savage beating.

Deputy Paul Schene stands accused of fourth-degree assault, including kicking the girl in the abdomen, slamming her against a wall and pulling her hair at SeaTac City Hall in November.

The King County Sheriff’s Office released a video surveillance tape showing the incident. The girl kicks off one of her shoes, which Schene claims struck him in the shin, injuring him, although he’s off camera as the shoe flies.

Here’s the footage of the incident. How he can plead not guilty with this footage is staggering. Note, the footage may upset some viewers.

  2. What in the heck are people thinking, this is unbelievable to have to see something like this. If this was there fifteen year old daughter I am sure they would have a hell of alot to say about this brutality. Fire these police officers that are not able to control themselfs. Just horrible how bad can a shoe hurt??????????

  3. cops are punks. period.
They probably sexually assualted her afterwards in a broom closet

  4. this cop should have lost his job for assulting this girl this was uncalled for

  5. Pulled her hair hell, it looks like he used her hair to stand her up after they got the handcuffs on. I would not stop until that jerk was fired cause hello, he told her to remove her shoes it's standard procedure if he didn't think a fifteen year old girl was gonna kick it out at him he's too stupid to be a cop anyway. Why isn't the other officer who looks to be at least helping being charged as well?

  6. She just wouldn't listen.

  7. If that were my daughter, I would stop at nothing to make sure that police officer is fired and never gets within 500 feet of another teenager…ever. Maybe some guys that are much bigger and stronger than him should be given a few free punches at HIS head.

  8. ok, yeah she did something to be there, but the reaction of the officer was uncalled for, she is a 15yr old Minor, as an offecier of the law he did nto conduct himself in a proper mannor, this just shows that when made into a law enforcement officer, how the power can corrupt, again, she is 15yrs old, if that was a parrent or another adult, they would be faceing jail time, am i incorrect in this? (sorry for any bad spelling)

  9. How could he shoe hurt his shin enough to justify punching her in the head!

Sicko creep – young girls don't like authority, deal with it – if it was my daughter I'd find where he lived.

First of all, she kicked the deputy first so he was right to to pull her hair and throw her down to the ground. The only thing I see wrong with this picture was the strikes with a closed hand'when she looked like she was proned out on the ground. The kid's parents should have taught her to respect authority. I don't think an assault charge on this deputy was warranted, but he should've gotten days off because the last time I check 15 years olds aren't the angels they were in the 50's

If her parents have any savvy – they've contacted an attorney to press for a civil suit against the city. The vast majority of those employed in law enforcement conduct themselves professionally. It's examples such as this that make their job that much more difficult. Not only should 'Officer' Schene lose his job – he should be bunking up with some felon behind bars that takes a “shine” to him.

It's people like you that allows this sick society to prevail. What this cop this to this kid is inhumane. It's pretty sad that in this day of age that brutality such as this is still “accepted”.

These Gentleman, well no..these primates to put it precisely seem to have a lack of education, why does the United States not try to educate their police officers before letting them out to play in public?
Begin with writing and reading and some basic behaviour. They would not be mixed up with third world death squadrons then. I think the United States is as desirable a country to live in as Iran is today. Sad times.

it's not the officers that need to be educated, but the children at the age of 15 who think it's cool to assault police officers that need to be educated. He was wrong for the punches, but at what point in time did we allow police officers to become punching bags for criminals? You people are so funny! One minute you look at police officers / deputies as the big bad wolf, but the minute you get robbed, or your house gets broken into, you'd be the first ones to scream for help. people like you and Martin make me sick! He's wrong for the punches, but to say everything he did wrong was an ignorant response.

  18. Well I can say this.

If it were my daughter I would be a little more concerned that she stole a car and mouthed off to a police officer.

Was the officer wrong here? Yes.

But one thing is for sure. If the girl did not steal a car and then mouth off to the cops, this never happens.

  19. Hey, fat pig. Take the badge off, take the uniform off, take the gun off, and see if you have the balls to fight me, or whether its just 15 year old girls you like to beat up on because you know they can't win. And cops wonder why they get called pigs…

Rob: She didnt steal a car, it was her parents car they didnt know she took it, they reported it stolen. She is a bratty teenager who took her parents car for a joy ride. Even if she HAD stolen a car, she did not deserve that. The cop lost control.
My Opinion: People should feel it is within their rights to call the police when they need them, to protect and serve, it is their job! On the same not they should be able to hold them accountable when they do something wrong. That comes with the territory of the job, dont like it quit…

I grew up in the seattle area and there is no question that there is a problem all across the entire city for such acts of violence. As a matter of fact i have found individuals who go into the police force more often than not are there to gain the authority and respect they did not recieve from thier peers family or friends growiing up. This is a man who obviously has alot of issues he should be evaluated for before returning to serve the wonderful county of King. He was obviously picked on as a child or forced to touch his stepfathers @#$%. Anyways..this man should certainly hope that he does not run into this young ladys father. He and his family should be embarassed and should move immediately.

When a police department goes to a judge fighting to get this video released to the public, knowing the affect it will have on the departments reputation, it's because you committed a crime. He seems to meet more beligerant perps than most cops. In 8 years as a cop, he's already shot and killed a man with 11 shots, been arrestede for driving under the influence of prescription drugs, and now this. I think the department is starting to realize that he fits more of a Joe Sociopath profile than the upstanding law enforcement officer profile.

  25. First of all even when arrested you have rights period to be treated with dignity. It is protocol to remove shoes and in the presence of a female officer if there is a male officer. so, that's why I said there needs to be changes in this system and these officers well, they don't deserve to be officers period.

  26. i thought their behavior was complete bullshit typical jailhouse guards they all need a good beating
