Move Over Kim Kardashian, Jared Leto Also Bleached His Hair Blond

Kim Kardashian isn’t the only bleached blonde in town. Jared Leto also bleached his hair blond. The Academy Award-winning actor showed off his new hair color at Paris Fashion Week.

Kardashian stole the spotlight when she showed off her new bleach blonde locks at the Balmain show. She was then one-upped by Leto who also showcased his bleach blond hair. The fashion media has been buzzing about both star’s shocking hairstyles.

Not only did Kim and Jared sport the same hair color, but they also wore velvet clothing and dark tones. Kim posted a selfie with her new hair color saying, “So I went platinum!! I have the best team! Thank you to @joycebonelli for being my inspiration and introducing me to @GregoryRussellHair who cut my hair & put this team together! Thank you @LorriGoddard_ who dyed my hair & got this color in one try! Not an easy task!”

This isn’t the first time that Leto has rocked bleached blond hair. He also had a bleached blond mohawk at Paris Fashion Week back in 2011, according to The Huffington Post. This time around, Leto was the second famous person to arrive in Paris, following behind Kim Kardashian.

Leto’s dramatic new hairstyle appears to be for his role of The Joker in The Suicide Squad. Meanwhile, Kim loves to experiment with different hair colors and hairstyles. But these similar hairstyles won’t stop the fashion media from buzzing about the hairstyles. Bleach blonde hair could become the latest trend for spring/summer 2015.

Jared announced earlier this week that he was chopping off his long locks. The announcement of his hair cut happened on Twitter, when Suicide director David Ayer shared a photo of Jared’s ponytail between a pair of scissors. Some fans were happy to hear that he was getting rid of his “Jesus” look, while others were upset to see that he was cutting his luscious locks.

Ayer then shared a black and white photo of Leto’s new haircut that the Inquisitr described as “dramatic.” His hair isn’t the only thing that will change during his transformation of the Joker. Leto told Billboard that he also plans to gain weight for his role.

Kim Kardashian isn’t the only sister that’s going blonde these days. Four days ago, Khloe Kardashian showed off her new blonde locks on Instagram. She tagged her hairstylist Tracey Cunningham, who is the owner of MeCHE SALON in Los Angeles, according to another Inquisitr report.
