Justin Bieber Comedy Central Roast Taps Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, Shaquille O’Neal And More

Justin Bieber tapes his Comedy Central roast in just over a week. Right on track, Comedy Central has announced their full lineup of celebrity roasters and comedians for the highly anticipated Bieber takedown.

These include, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart — yes, that Martha Stewart — former NBA legend, now NBA analyst Shaquille O’Neal, larger-than-life rapper Snoop Dogg (and Lion) and the rapper Ludacris.

Comedians Natasha Leggero and Chris D’Elia have also signed on to the roast. Both have appeared in previous Comedy Central productions.

D’Elia had Bieber on stage at the Laugh Factory comedy club in West Hollywood back in December, 2013. Leggero, who is also an actress, was a regular panelist on pal Chelsea Handler’s late-night talk show Chelsea Lately, and was one of James Franco’s roasters in 2013.

This odd — but fascinating — collection of names will come together at Sony Studios in Los Angeles on March 14, where Bieber will be publicly dragged through the “material” he has provided in recent years. His Comedy Central Roast Of Justin Bieber airs March 30 o the network at 10 p.m. ET.

Comedian-actor Kevin Hart is the designated Roast Master. Comics Hannibal Buress and Jeffrey Ross are already confirmed.

Alongside an Instagram post noting the new names, Ross revealed, “I dreamed about this a year ago and now it’s really happening. Will you be watchin?”

Comedy Central posted a tweet to Bieber and said Hart had instructed the new roasters to “go hard” on him.

Back in Bieber’s teen moppet days, Shaquille appeared on the stage with the singer and they have played basketball and danced together.

The “Where Are U Now” singer is also friends with Snoop Dogg, while Ludacris rapped on Justin’s signature 2010 hit “Baby,” and has appeared with the Biebs at various shows over the years.

Stewart’s non-connection to Bieber makes her a thrilling add. Her incarceration in 2004 for felony charges of conspiracy, obstruction, and making false statements, is the backstory to her now-rejuvenated career as an author, radio host and cook, and her business offshoots from the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia company. This will likely come up at the Biebs’ roast given his own brushes with the law.

Meanwhile, after the roasters were revealed, Bieber took to Twitter to troll Seth Rogen.

After posting unanswered tweets earlier this week and last week, requesting that the actor roast him, Bieber picked up where he left off. Almost immediately, #whereisseth soared to the top of trending topics on Twitter.

Is this all part of the pantomine? Is Rogen party to the joke? The Wrap previously reported his rep revealed he will not be in Los Angeles when the Bieber roast is filmed. Time will tell whether or not Rogen joins Stewart, Snoop, Hart, O’Neal, Ludacris and the rest.
