Heidi Klum Breaks Silence on Divorce From Seal
Heidi Klum has been pretty quiet since she and Seal announced their divorce last month. Outside of the official statement that the couple co-released, Klum hasn’t said a word about the divorce. Seal, on the other hand, has appeared on “Ellen” and has talked openly about his split from the supermodel.
Klum took to Twitter today to post a brief message to her fans. Klum wrote:
“Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words. Really means so much. Thanks again…to the best fans in the world!”
Klum’s post divorce message wasn’t nearly as revealing as Seal’s. The singer, who is still wearing his wedding ring, said:
“We will be connected in many ways till the rest of our lives … through our children and also through this tremendous admiration, respect and love that we have for each other.”
The NY Post reports that an interview with Klum taken just before the split was announced was recently released. In the interview, Klum talks about how she was looking forward to renewing her vows with Seal.
Klum said:
“I’m determined to mark our wedding every year with a really great party. We all work very hard and time goes by so fast and you can stumble over years without symbolic peaks in your life to remember — so we create those.”
Klum and Seal announced their divorce on June 23rd, just short of the 7 year wedding anniversary. The couple said:
“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”

I think the reason for the separation is because Seal, is very dominating. I think he might be controlling as well. Heidi, appears to be more of a free spirit. I also think she might be a bit high strung. Just remember, two people in a marriage, both cannot wear the pants. Someone must wear the dress.

just sayin, they just don't seem to fit. I am glad that they are being civil about their divorce. Any divorce is very sad.

I think the whole thing is a publicity stunt due to Seal's timely release of his album! They are both still wearing their wedding rings and living in the same house. Strange behavior of folks who announced they are separating! This is a no-brainer…

June 23rd or do you mean January 23rd? I hate to see anyone go through a divorce but it always seemed like they tried so hard to show they were in love….when you're in love you don't have to brag about how big his member is or get married every year..if you have to work that hard to be reminded of your commitment to each other eventually you will run out of energy…

This couple has never mentioned divorce or even legal separation. Saying that they have grown apart and separated does not mean that it is forever.

OK, so they have grown apart. Happens in marriage but they have children to raise so lay your personal feelings down and focus on them.
