Will Barbara Evans Lose Custody Of Jace? ‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans ‘Feels Good’ Heading Into Court

Could Barbara Evans lose custody of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ son? According to a new report, the two women will soon appear in court to discuss the custody of Jace Evans, 5, and Jenelle, for one, feels confident that the outcome will be in her favor.

“Jenelle feels good about it,” a friend of Jenelle told Radar Online on March 3.

“Hopefully Jenelle can get some type of visitation set in stone so [Barbara Evans] can’t keep Jace from her anymore.”

In recent reports, it has been claimed that Barbara Evans has been limiting Jenelle’s time with Jace, although it is unclear as to why.

After Jenelle is able to get her time with Jace secured, the source claims she’ll be ready to pursue full custody of her son, which would mean Barbara Evans would lose the rights she currently has.

“Custody is the next step. Jenelle is very confident about getting custody too.”

As the Inquisitr reported last month, Evans and her mother, Barbara Evans, have been feuding recently over the Teen Mom 2 star’s time with her son.

On February 20, a source spoke to Radar Online, claiming the two women went head-to-head on the phone after Barbara Evans refused to let Evans take her son to the movies.

“Jenelle asked [Barbara Evans] if she could simply take Jace to the movies, but Barbara said no, that they had plans. Jenelle told her mom, ‘It’s not to sleep over — it’s just to go see a movie.’ She insisted they had plans and said it was too bad. [Barbara Evans] then said they could make visitation whenever they go to court.”

Jenelle and Barbara Evans’ relationship has been strained since fans first met Jenelle on 16 & Pregnant. Then, as the women continued to film for Teen Mom 2, things only got worse. After Barbara Evans was awarded custody of Jace, Jenelle spiraled out of control.

In addition to multiple arrests, a handful of bad news boyfriends, and a failed marriage, Evans struggled with an addiction to heroin during Teen Mom 2 Season 4. Throughout filming, Barbara Evans’ daughter and her boyfriend, Kieffer Delp, were seen strung out on drugs, and doing whatever they could to get their next high. It was devastating to watch, but luckily, Evans has since kicked her habit and has now settled down into life at home with her fiancé, Nathan Griffith.

Jenelle and Barbara Evans will be seen on Teen Mom 2 Season 6 later this year.
