Heather Dubrow Not Supporting ‘RHOOC’ Co-Star’s New Book Venture

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow may know what she wants and what she doesn’t want for her family and career, but she doesn’t want to use her name for something to help someone else, apparently. Earlier on the show, Heather and her husband were offered a spread in Lydia McLaughlin’s magazine so they could show off their home.

Heather Dubrow decided to turn down the offer because the Dubrow home would not be covering the front page of the magazine. Without a cover, Heather didn’t see a need for them to be in the magazine. But now, Heather has been asked to contribute a few words for her former co-star’s new book, but even that is something Dubrow doesn’t want to help with.

According to a new Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow supposedly turned down the offer to help out with the book. Lydia had supposedly asked Dubrow to share an innocent story about a scene the two ladies once filmed together, but Dubrow was not eager to help out.

“Heather told Lydia she did not want to be mentioned in her book at all,” a source has revealed, adding, “She wasn’t going to speak badly about her in any way.”

It is uncertain what friction exists between Heather Dubrow and Lydia McLaughlin, since Heather didn’t want to help out with the book. The ladies didn’t have any drama when the reunion special ended. If something happened between them, it happened when the cameras were not there.

Of course, since leaving the show, McLaughlin has had another child. Heather Dubrow has been focusing on building her massive new home, which will probably be shared on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

The book could be a Christian-inspired book, which may not sit well with Heather. Of course, Dubrow doesn’t follow the same religion as Lydia, so it is very possible that she just didn’t see herself a fit for the book. In addition, Heather Dubrow has been thinking about distancing herself from Bravo after Teresa Giudice was found guilty of fraud. According to the Inquisitr, Heather felt that Bravo was harboring a criminal.

It is very possible that Dubrow doesn’t want to let her co-stars use her name to sell more books. Maybe Alexis Bellino would have been a better person to ask.

What do you think about Heather Dubrow’s decision to not support Lydia?
