Cameron Diaz Need: Cosmopolitan Interview Quotes Diaz As Saying People ‘Need’ Sex

Cameron Diaz thinks that people need sex, according to her Cosmopolitan interview. According to Us Weekly, the newlywed recently opened up about her feelings on different things from social media to having sex, and her comments about the latter made headlines on Monday.

“It’s something healthy that we need to be doing for many different reasons,” Diaz said. The actress has always been pretty open about stuff like this, and she has previously said that sex is something that is natural, and is something that people should be doing.

“The fountain of youth [for me], let’s see…I guess it’s exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex — yes, sex, we need that as human beings. It’s healthy, it’s natural, it’s what we are here to do!” Diaz said back in 2010.

Cameron Diaz feels that a need for sex is normal, but Cosmopolitan Magazine also asked her about social media (specifically why she quit using it), something that she doesn’t think is quite so normal. According to Just Jared, Diaz took a pretty straight forward approach in responding to questions, and at 42, she has nothing to hide. Of course this is one of the reasons people like Diaz so much. She is very real in so many ways.

“I think social media is a crazy-ass experiment on society. The way people use it to get validation from a bunch of strangers is dangerous. What’s the point?” Diaz said. When asked about her overall approach to dieting, she had even more to say.

“Well being is an equation. Remember, you don’t have to have the whole cake, you can have a piece. Don’t deprive yourself. Have fun. Just be self-aware. If your equation is 80 percent good, 20 percent bad most of the time, then a little movement toward the center isn’t going to affect you much.”

Cameron Diaz’s need for sex isn’t just for Cosmopolitan readers, either. The tabloids have been having a spot of fun on the actress’ behalf. Since her got engaged and then tied the knot in a very short amount of time, pregnancy rumors have been fairly abundant. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, some people thought that Diaz’s quickie-wedding was because she was with child. That, however, doesn’t seem to be the case.

Of course Diaz has been pretty up front about that stuff too.

“If I wanted kids at any point in life, I would have them,” she has said previously.
