Farrah Abraham’s ‘Teen Mom OG’ Storyline Revealed, Won’t Appear On Every Episode
There has been a lot of drama surrounding Farrah Abraham and her return to Teen Mom OG. The reality show star turned adult entertainment star initially wasn’t supposed to be back on the show, but producers decided they needed her story at the last minute. Of course, this hasn’t gone over too well with her co-stars and even some fans have expressed their discontent. However, it turns out that Farrah won’t appear on the entire first season of the show.
In an interview with TV Guide, Executive Producer Morgan J. Freeman opened up about the first season of Teen Mom OG and revealed that Farrah Abraham isn’t in the first episode of the show. It is interesting because it shows that those involved with the show really did intend on rebooting the show without the reality show star. It appears that MTV cameras caught up with Farrah back in November 2014 when she was performing at a gentlemen’s club in Texas. It was around that time that rumors of a Farrah focused show started to swirl, but soon the announcement came that she would be back on Teen Mom OG.
Speaking about Farrah’s storyline, Freeman explained to TV Guide what fans can expect.
“[Her mother] Debra has been living in Seattle. She starts to sniff around to see if she can move to Austin. Her dad Michael lives there. Farrah definitely has some feelings about that. You definitely get reacquainted with the entire family. Farrah does a lot of traveling. She does meet somebody. I’ll leave that there.”
Farrah Abraham always keeps her fans updated with her life and doesn’t hide anything. As a result, most fans already know about her new relationship with a man named Simon. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the couple was recently spotted out to dinner together and cameras were there as well. This has some wondering if perhaps a second season of Teen Mom OG is going to be on MTV.
When it was brought to Freeman’s attention that the show “couldn’t have been done” without Farrah Abraham, he seemed to agree with a laugh.
“I like that observation. … We were a few episodes in [filming], but everything is sort of staggered in following their stories. We’re not going super hard and fast in banging out an episode.”
Of course, not all of Farrah’s co-stars have been keen on the idea of bringing her back. In fact, there are rumors that Maci Bookout may actually quit the show, but recently revealed to E! News that she can’t comment on her reported departure at the moment.
“I can’t really comment on my leaving the show. As far as the way I felt when she was returning, it’s not about Farrah. I don’t hold a grudge against her… But there’s also a fine line with what I find appropriate and I just don’t think it’s appropriate for my 6-year-old son to be involved with some of the things that Farrah is involved with.”
No matter what happens with Teen Mom OG, there is no doubt that having Farrah Abraham back will be interesting. The show will premiere on March 23 on MTV, but you will have to wait at least another week to watch Farrah on the show.
