WWE News: Kevin Nash Likely To Be The Next Inductee Into WWE Hall Of Fame

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE has narrowed its list down to three possible names to be the final inductee into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. Those three names are Ray Stevens, Kevin Nash, and Madusa — AKA Alundra Blayze, with Nash being the most likely of the three to be inducted.

Kevin Nash had a bit of a problem with WWE back in December when WWE suspended him from his legends contract following a domestic dispute with his son. After WWE lifted Nash’s suspension, Nash went on Twitter and said that he would likely never appear on WWE television again, then just a week later, he appeared on WWE’s RAW Reunion show.

In past shoot interviews, Nash has criticized the WWE Hall of Fame, saying that it wouldn’t really make a difference if WWE decided to induct him or not. He’s also been very vocal about two of his friends — “Ravishing” Rick Rude and “Macho Man” Randy Savage — not being in the WWE Hall of Fame, saying that he would never go in before those two were inducted. Well one of the two is being inducted, as “Macho Man” Randy Savage is the headline act at this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

WWE fans do want to see WWE induct the NWO faction into the WWE Hall of Fame, but as long as Vince McMahon is in charge, it’s unlikely that the NWO will be inducted, as Vince McMahon hates to induct anything or anyone who was WCW created, and — for the most part — had nothing to do with WWE. Hence why Scott Hall was inducted as Razor Ramon last year with there being no mention of his WCW run as Scott Hall.

Just like his good friend Scott Hall being inducted as Razor Ramon, it’s likely that WWE will induct Kevin Nash as Diesel. Also, Scott Hall will probably be the guy to induct him, unless WWE wants to have Shawn Michaels — who was partially responsible for bringing Nash into WWE back in the early 90’s — induct him.

WWE is favoring Nash over Ray Stevens and Madusa because they don’t feel like they have a strong co-headliner, and Nash is a much bigger and more relevant name than the other two that are being considered.

If WWE ends up inducting Nash, he’ll join “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rikishi, and The Bushwhackers in the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2015.
