18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) Complete Winners List


The 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards aired on both TNT and TBS from 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST in the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday and as expected the movie The Help won big with awards going to Octavia Spencer (Female actor in a supporting role), Viola Davis (female actor in a leading role) and best overall cast for a motion picture.

On the TV front Steve Buscemi won for best male actor in a drama series for his work on Boardwalk Empire while the Boardwalk Empire cast won for best ensemble in a drama series.

Modern Family also repeated it’s win for best comedy series ensemble, the same award they took home last year while 30 Rock‘s Words With Friends loving actor Alec Baldwin won best male comedy actor for the sixth time in a row.

  • Female actor in a comedy series — Betty White, Hot in Cleveland

  • Female actor in a TV movie or mini — Kate Winslet, Mildred Pierce
  • Male actor in a TV movie or mini — Paul Giamatti, Too Big to Fail
  • Life achievement — Mary Tyler Moore
  • Female actor in a drama series — Jessica Lange, American Horror Story
  • Male actor in a drama series — Steve Buscemi, Boardwalk Empire
  • Ensemble in a drama series — Boardwalk Empire
  • Male actor in a leading role — Jean Dujardin, The Artist
  • Female actor in a leading role — Viola Davis, The Help
  • Cast of a motion picture — The Help
