‘Duck Dynasty’s’ Phil Robertson Just Went On An Epic Rant About STDs, Revenge Of The Hippies And Jesus

Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame went on an epic rant on Friday while at the 2015 Conservative Political Action Conference.

Robertson was at the ceremony to accept the Andrew Breitbart Defender of the First Amendment Award from Citizens United.

And while on stage to collect his accolade, Robertson took this opportunity to make several remarks to the gathered masses explaining just how concerned he is about the rate of sexually transmitted infections in America, while he also squeezed in a few comments about Jesus and the revenge of hippies, too.

According to the Huffington Post, Robertson, who also made sure to declare his love for the bible, proclaimed that he was deeply concerned about the high rate of STIs in the United States of America.

“You lose your religion, according to John Adams, and there goes your morality. We’re almost there. I hate to admit I got my facts from the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] days before yesterday, 110 million, 110 million Americans now have a sexually transmitted illness.”

Robertson has figured out who is responsible for all of the STDs that are currently floating around America, though. And he puts the blame squarely at the feet of the hippies.

“There is a penalty to be paid from what the beatniks, and it morphed into the hippies — you say, what do you call the 110 million with the sexually transmitted illness — it is the revenge of the hippies! Sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll have come back to haunt us in a bad way.”

But Robertson isn’t one to just point out a problem without offering up a solution. He then outlined the right way to try and combat the hippies’ plan for the entire population of the United States of America to have an STD.

“You want a godly, biblical, medically safe option? One man, one woman, married for life.”

Robertson explained that he is only pointing out all of these issues because he loves America, and he is trying to help the country through this time of need.

“I told you my love for you is not contingent on how you feel about me. I love you anyway. I don’t want to see you die early or get sick. I’m trying to help you, for crying out loud. America, if I didn’t care about you, why would I bring this up?”

Unfortunately, Robertson failed to mention the CDC’s own recommendation for stopping the spread of such diseases, which is the use of condoms. It must have just slipped his mind.
