‘Teen Mom’ Farrah Abraham’s Dad Is Cool With Her Sex Tape, Claims The ‘Teen Mom’ Doesn’t ‘Wh*re Or Anything’
Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham’s dad, Michael, isn’t bothered by her 2013 sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.
During Abraham’s MTV special, Getting to Know Farrah, Abraham sat down with her parents, Michael and Debra Danielson, and watched previous episodes of Teen Mom. While chatting, Michael was heard discussing his daughter’s racy video, and defending her choices to enter the world of adult entertainment.
Below is what he said about the film, according to a February 26 report by Wetpaint Entertainment.
“Bottom line, I know that she doesn’t wh*re or anything else. My daughter did not sell her body. She sold the rights to a video.”
After she wrapped filming on Teen Mom’s fourth season in 2012, Abraham kept a low profile for a few months. Then, in early 2013, reports of a possible sex tape hit the web. By May, Vivid Entertainment had purchased the rights to the film, which also starred porn star James Deen, and began selling the video online and in stores. Once her tape was published, the Teen Mom star went on tour to promote it, traveling the country and appearing in nightclubs and gentleman’s bars. Abraham then began writing a series of erotic novels and launched a line of sex toys.
While Abraham’s gig on Teen Mom seemed all but over, it was announced by Us Weekly last month that she would take part in the upcoming Teen Mom OG series, along with her former co-stars, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood.
Also in the Wetpaint Entertainment report, Abraham’s thoughts on her daughter’s future being impacted by her sex tape were revealed.
“I know how to be a parent, and I know how to separate those things. She doesn’t even see those things. Those things are not relevant, and I think how the world is perceiving that, and judging it, and making it out to be is wrong.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Teen Mom star also spoke about her issues with her mother during Getting to Know Farrah. In one particular scene, Abraham was seen telling her mother that her behavior on the show made her want to act out.
“I feel like beating the s**t out of you just watching that.”
The Teen Mom star also called her mother, Debra, a “hillbilly out of control.”
