Andy Cohen Teases That New ‘RHONY’ Season Is ‘OMG’ Good

The seventh season of The Real Housewives of New York City is one to watch, at least according to executive producer Andy Cohen. On Wednesday afternoon, Andy tweeted his reaction after watching a few episodes of the upcoming season. The new season is apparently so dramatic and interesting that it could be called Real Housewives Oh My God.

One of the things that may leave viewers shocked when they see it is the drama that Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer had at Sonja Morgan’s fashion show. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, after photos came out of Bethenny and Ramona having what looks to be a very heated argument at Sonja’s event, Ramona acknowledged, via Twitter, that she and Bethenny did have an “intense moment.”

After being away from Real Housewives for three seasons, Bethenny Frankel, in October 2014, announced that has decided to return to the show. In a statement, Bethenny expressed both excitement and hesitation for what would come.

“I’m genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to The Real Housewives of New York City. Bravo has always been the place on television where I have the freedom to be unfiltered, honest and inappropriate, with an audience who has been with me from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings for all of us.”

In an interview with OK! Magazine in late January, Ramona Singer said that viewers will see different dynamics between the women, as well as different sides of the women, in the new season.

“I think the chemistry has really evolved. There are actually some true friendships here and we have some true heartaches.”

While she didn’t elaborate, one of the “true heartaches” that Ramona Singer may have been talking about is the demise of her long marriage to Mario Singer. After 27 years of marriage, Ramona filed for divorce last year after he carried on a lengthy affair with a much younger woman. In August, 2014, Ramona explained to Us Weekly why she finally decided to pull the plug.

“We were working very hard on our relationship and making great progress. It was really working well, and then I got the feeling that he started seeing [Kasey Dexter] again… He wouldn’t admit to it. He said everything was great with us. Then the next morning I pushed him on it and he admitted he [had seen her], and I just said, ‘I can’t do this anymore. Goodbye.'”

Besides Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan, the Real Housewives of New York City Season 7 will show LuAnn de Lesseps, Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill, Kristen Taekman, and newcomer Dorinda Medley.
