Jenelle Evans’ Arrest: New Details Surface Including Seat Belt Tickets
Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans may be one to share many of the positive things that happens in her life on Twitter, but yesterday afternoon, Jenelle was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Evans did not reveal this arrest on Twitter and it is very possible that she wanted to keep it away from the spotlight. But she added yet another mugshot to her very long list at the age of 23.
Jenelle Evans’ arrest was covered by the Inquisitr, even though not many details were provided at the time. She had been arrested Tuesday afternoon and spent just a single hour in jail before paying $237.50 to get out according to the report. In a single retweet, Jenelle shared that it all appears to be a misunderstanding. But now, more details are surfacing about the arrest.
According to new tweets, Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is now speaking out herself, sharing what she believes went down during yesterday’s arrest. And clearly, Evans is blaming the entire thing on the DMV.
“Soooo the NC DMV suspends my license last month then doesn’t tell me?! Niiiiice,” Jenelle Evans revealed on Twitter, adding, “Got my license back tho.”
But that was not all she revealed. Jenelle also explained that she had received a seat belt ticket two years ago, which was paid late. And this is why her license was suspended. In other words, Evans is not as innocent in all of this as she wants people to think.
“How r u going to suspended my license becuz a seat belt ticket was paid 3 days late back in 2013?!” Jenelle Evans revealed in anger.
Yes, the DMV should have notified her of the suspension, but Jenelle should not have been driving without a seat belt. This ticket was issued two years ago, so it wasn’t while she was driving with her young son, Kaiser. However, it is very possible that Evans was without a seat belt and driving irresponsibly while her son Jace was in the car.
When the news surfaced that Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans had been arrested, many probably assumed it was in relation to her drug struggles. In addition, Jenelle is currently going through a custody battle with her mother over Jace, who has been the legal child of Barbara for years.
