Bobbi Kristina Update: Nick Gordon Refuses To Reveal What Happened That Day, Lawyer Says
As Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 21-year-old daughter of the late pop icon Whitney Houston and troubled R&B singer Bobby Brown, nears her first full month in a coma, her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is refusing to reveal what happened to Bobbi Kristina that led to her being found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31, a Brown family lawyer charges.
According to a report in Us Weekly, 46-year-old Bobby Brown demanded that Gordon spill the details about the still-mysterious events of that day, which culminated in Gordon desperately attempting CPR on Bobbi Kristina Brown without success until paramedics showed up and rushed her to a nearby hospital in Atlanta.
But Gordon refused to open his mouth and, as a result, Bobby Brown has banned Gordon from visiting Bobbi Kristina in her Emory University Hospital room.
The ban has Gordon furious and desperate, posting a series of Twitter messages in which he alternately pleads for access to his girlfriend’s room and excoriates the “My Prerogative” singer.
In one since-deleted message, Gordon promises that Bobbi Kristina will arise from her coma when she hears his voice — then issues an ominous warning to Bobby Brown.
“Your daughter is going to hate you when she wakes up,” Gordon wrote. “It’s not like you know her anyways. What’s her favorite color? What’s her favorite smell, movie, food? You don’t know. I forgive you, she won’t.”
In another string of Twitter postings, Nick Gordon alleges that the Brown family has been sending him death threats, and that Bobby Brown has been an absent father who has resurfaced only to claim the Whitney Houston fortune, to which Bobbi Kristina is heiress.

But Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Christopher Brown, says that the real problem is simply that Gordon refuses to reveal what happened on January 31 that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
“It appears that Mr. Gordon did not want his understanding of the facts to be subject to the truthful examination of various experts or Bobby Brown himself,” the lawyer told Us Weekly. “Due to Mr. Gordon’s failure to place in tangible form his understanding of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina, there is no reason for any additional discussion with him.”
Gordon’s lawyers responded by saying that Gordon has already told his story to the police, and “Mr. Brown is not law enforcement.” Gordon denied on Monday that he has refused to tell his side of the story, saying that he already spoke to police — without a lawyer present.
Brown’s attorney went on to say that Gordon “has every right to remain silent and not share his version of the events with Bobby Brown.” But until Nick Gordon puts his version of the events of January 31 on paper and tells Bobby Brown what happened to Bobbi Kristina, he will remain barred from visiting her.
