Richard Pryor’s Widow Jennifer Lee: Bill Cosby Is A ‘Piece of Sh*t’

Jennifer Lee Pryor, widow of legendary comedian Richard Pryor, says Bill Cosby is a “piece of sh*t” and his willingness to “f*ck anything that moved” was a well-kept secret in the world of standup. Pryor claims Camille Cosby ignored her husband’s indiscretions because of the money.

Jennifer Lee weighed in on the Cosby scandal on Sunday’s episode of Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend.

According to Jezebel, Pryor maintained everyone knew during standup’s heyday that Bill Cosby was a womanizer, and while she did not know “the level of his perversity,” there are others who knew and are now speaking up.

“It was a well-kept secret that Bill f*cked everything that moved. This kind of sh*t that we’re finding out about is beyond. I wasn’t aware of this kind of business. There are people in the business who were aware of it and they’re coming out now.”

Pryor said she believed even Camille Cosby knew about her comedian husband’s sexual behavior, but she kept quiet because of the money.

“Of course she knew. Why is she going for the ‘okie-doke,’ as Richard would say? That’s anybody’s guess. I can guess why — ka-ching,” Pryor said, making a cash register sound.

During her interview, Pryor also gave some background as to the perceived rivalry of Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby.

“Richard was dirty on the outside, but he was a good person on the inside. Bill, f*ck. Clean. Oh, clean. He hated Richard because he worked dirty. Bill worked clean, so therefore, you know — Bill’s just a f*cking hypocrite, and dirty on the inside.”

In her interview with Alison Rosen, Jennifer Lee praised Hannibal Buress for being the catalyst that opened the floodgates for the slew of women who have come forward over the past few months accusing Cosby of drugging and sexual assault.

“It’s never cool to bring a black icon down. People say, ‘We don’t have a lot of them, leave him alone.'”

While it may not be cool to “bring a black icon down,” Jennifer Lee said of Cosby’s career and legacy, “He’s done. He’s a piece of sh*t.”

While she had a lot to say about Bill Cosby, Jennifer Lee Pryor spent most of the podcast talking about her life with Richard Pryor, the couple’s divorce and remarriage, his history with drugs, his suicide attempt, threesomes, and what she loved and misses about her late husband.
