Newt Gingrich to Pelosi: “Bring It” [Video]

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has made a confession. She has made this confession before and we have all heard that she may or may not have a secret. She claims to know something about Newt Gingrich that will ensure he will not be President. She says she will bring it out at a time and place of her choosing.

Speaking to CNN Pelosi said,

“Gingrich will never be president. That’s not going to happen. Let me just make my prediction and stand by it — it isn’t going to happen.There’s something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him, that’s their prerogative.”

Gingrich’s response…Bring It On

Speaking to Fox News Gingrich said,

“I think if she knows something, she ought to say it, and if she doesn’t know something, she ought to quit saying it. “But this is baloney.”

Pelosi’s spokesman Drew Hammill tried to dial down the rhetoric in a statement Wednesday saying,

“The ‘something’ Leader Pelosi knows is that Newt Gingrich will not be president of the United States. She made that clear last night,” Hammill went on to say that her earlier remark was merely a reference to the “extensive amount of information that is in the public record, including the comprehensive committee report with which the public may not be fully aware.”

Mitt Romney tried to use the moment as an “I told you so” moment but came off looking childish as he usually does.

His campaign said,

“If Nancy Pelosi knows those things right now, she will hand them to Barack Obama’s campaign if Speaker Gingrich were our nominee,”

Gingrich said he would rather have Pelosi threaten him than endorse him so he must be doing something right.
