‘Sister Wives’ Divorce: Meri Responds To Pregnancy Speculation

Sister Wives star Meri Brown isn’t just dealing with the fallout from her decision to legally divorce Kody — the TLC reality show star recently had fans wondering whether she was pregnant with her second child.

Meri’s pregnancy struggles have been well-documented on Sister Wives, and they’ve been quite a roller coaster ride. During last Sunday’s “Meri: Behind the Scenes” special, she recounted her visit to a fertility clinic, the moment Robyn offered to be her surrogate, and her ultimate decision to give up on having a second child. Apparently, the Sister Wives episode left some fans wishing that Meri would walk away from her legal divorce with a consolation baby — Kody Brown’s first wife recently found herself shooting down pregnancy rumors after a concerning tweet about her health.

It sounds like the Sister Wives star definitely needs to find out what’s going on with those dizzy spells. Meri informed one fan that she’s had her ears checked, but apparently this isn’t the problem. Others suggested that she may be suffering from low blood sugar. According to Meri, no doctor has been able to figure out what’s causing the dizzy spells.

Many Sister Wives fans probably thought Meri Brown was ready to walk away from the family when she made the shocking announcement that she legally divorcing Kody Brown. However, Meri is using Twitter to prove that she’s still a happy member of the multiple Brown households by tweeting back and forth with Kody and her sister wives. She recently had to correct Kody when he got the Pythagorean Theorem confused with the mathematical constant Pi.

Because Meri is still so buddy-buddy with everyone, her divorce from Kody Brown might not be as dramatic as TLC is making it seem in the teasers for the season finale of Sister Wives. As the Inquistir previously reported, viewers won’t get to see the divorce announcement this Sunday because the show isn’t airing this week. Sister Wives fans will have to wait until March 1 to find out exactly what’s going on, but TMZ has provided a likely explanation for the legal split: Meri stepped aside to let Kody legally marry Robyn so that the youngest sister wife’s children from a previous marriage would gain access to health insurance and other benefits.

Us Weekly recently shared a Sister Wives teaser clip that shows how Meri revealed her divorce decision to Kody and Robyn Brown. She devised the divorce plan all by herself, and she invited Kody and Robyn over to talk without letting them know what she wanted to discuss.

“I didn’t know what was going on,” Kody says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Meri admits that she’s “feeling a bit nervous” about the family meeting that will totally change the dynamics of the Brown household.

The next episode of Sister Wives airs Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC, and it will be followed by a one-hour, tell-all special.
