‘Glee’ Final Season: Kurt and Blaine Get Married, So Do Brittany and Santana

Glee fans loved every minute of Friday’s latest episode. This final season of the show has been great so far, and it only got better as viewers watched Kurt and Blaine get married in a surprise twist, and Brittany and Santana tie the knot as well.

Broadway World reports that as Brittany was in total freak out mode about the wedding, Santana was as cool as a cucumber and so ready to marry the love of her life and best friend. When the brides to be held an impromptu fashion show to reveal their wedding dress choices to their former glee club members and closest friends Rachel, Mercedes, and Tina, Santana just couldn’t wait to see her future wife in her dress and sneaked a peek at Brittany in her dress, causing Miss Pierce to freak out even more.

Meanwhile, Rachel was afraid to sit next to Sam at the wedding because Finn’s parents would be there, and she didn’t want to upset them. However, her friends helped her remember that both Burt (Kurt’s father) and Carol (Finn’s mother) lost their spouses and later found great love together, and would understand that Rachel was moving on and trying to do the same. Rachel finally gave in and decided to sit next to her new romantic interest.

TV.com reports that while all of this was going on, Sue Sylvester found out that she was not invited to Brittany and Santana’s wedding. She was a bit hurt by the snub and when Santana told her it was because she was selfish and self-centered, Sue hatched a plan. The Cheerios coach reached out to Santana’s grandmother, who basically disowned her when she found out she was gay, and got her to understand that it was important for her to be at the wedding.

In the biggest twist of the episode it seems that Brittany, Santana, and Sue had another huge plan going on that no one else knew about. Before their wedding, Britt told the couple known as “Klaine,” who had only just gotten back together, that all was in place for them to get married, as well. Sue had the rings, and the brides had their tuxes, all they had to do was say yes.

Both couples walked down the aisle arm and arms and Kurt’s father officiated the ceremonies. It was amazing to watch these two couples say their vows and get married after the hard roads they have traveled, but a great way to end the show as there are only a handful of episodes left before the series finale, which, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, will guest star Johnathon Groff.

However, Brittany and Satana and Kurt and Blaine weren’t the only ones with a wedding on their mind. Tina wanted to ask Mike Chang to marry her, even though they haven’t been together in over a year. Tina asked Mike to marry her and he said no. He explained that they had too much ahead of them to think of marriage right now.
