Nina Dobrev Invited To Ian Somerhalder And Nikki Reed’s Wedding?

Is Nina Dobrev invited to Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed’s upcoming wedding? The Vampire Diaries co-stars have a long history, and recently have allegedly been feuding on set, but will Ian and Nikki set aside their feelings toward Nina and invite her to their big day?

According to the Christian Post, Ian and Nikki have been debating about whether or not to invite Nina to their wedding, which is allegedly scheduled for June. Reed is reportedly worried about the change in dynamic between Somerhalder and Dobrev on The Vampire Diaries set as their characters Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore are now back together and getting romantic yet again.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder dated for two years before calling in quits in 2013. After their break up, the co-stars remained good friends and began to move on with their lives. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Nina was romantically linked to Orlando Bloom, Liam Hemsworth, Derek Hough, and her new co-star, Chris Wood, while Ian waited a while before he began dating Nikki.

However, Dobrev wasn’t happy when Somerhalder decided to date her once good friend, and was allegedly furious when he moved Reed to Atlanta where The Vampire Diaries films and began bringing her to set on the regular. It’s likely that Nina didn’t like Nikki lurking over her while she was acting and trying to pretend to be in love with Ian.

After that, an all out war allegedly broke out, and things on the set got heated. While the situation may have calmed down a bit after Ian and Nikki got engaged, there is still the big question of whether or not Nina will get an invite along with the rest of her cast members to the big wedding, and if she does, will she even be able to handle watching the man she loved marry another woman?

Hollywood Life reports that it’s a very delicate and difficult decision for the newly engaged couple to be in and that the best situation for Somerhalder and Reed would be if they invited Dobrev out of courtesy and she declined politely.

“It’s a very weird predicament for Ian and Nikki. If it is a big wedding Ian feels that he has to ask Nina to go, but anticipates her to respectfully decline. That would be a win-win.”

It should be interesting to see how this one plays out.
