Fabolous posted a picture of the two victims on Instagram with the caption, “My heart is heavy right now. My friend @daydaydoesdis (left) died & my friend Eric Parker is in critical condition in the hospital fighting for his life. I am still in shock & don’t want to believe this. And it hurts even more knowing how good these two dudes are. How hard these guys work. And how loyal they are to whoever they are down with & each other.”

Minaj reposted the picture and wrote, “#Rp @myfabolouslife – these guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night. #RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable. Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.”

According to the police, the stabbing happened after an altercation in Che’s Bar and Grill in Philadelphia involving Picket, Parker, and a third man. The argument spilled outside and the assailant pulled out a knife. “Complainant #1 had sustained multiple (stab wounds) in the torso and was pronounced (dead) at 2:45 AM; complainant #2 is listed in critical condition with stab wounds to his left arm and left side,” the police report says.

Polce describe the assailant as a 30-year-old man with a full beard. The suspect drove away in a dark gold Buick Lesabre. According to reports, investigators believe that a Philadelphia Police crime camera as well as business surveillance cameras captured at least part of the incident. Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

At the time of the incident, Minaj was preparing for her upcoming tour in support of her new album The Pinkprint. The rapper was planning a month-long tour of Europe where she will play at major arenas. The Pinkprint tour was supposed to begin in Stockholm, Sweden on March 16.
