Christina Hendricks Reveals Which Shows She’s Most Excited To Watch

Christina Hendricks is the star of one of the most popular shows on television right now, and while we’re all waiting for it to make a return, she’s got her own shows she’s excited about.

The redheaded bombshell told the New York Post recently that she’ll be catching up on at least one show that already has a loyal fan following, as well as the second season of one that garnered a lot of attention last year.

“Well I know it’s already aired, but I haven’t watched it, and I’m very excited about watching The Fall. And I’m really looking forward to seeing the second season of Broadchurch. I’ve been traveling, so I just need to sit down and finally watch them,” Hendricks said.

With Mad Men going into its final season in April, Hendricks said recently that it’s a bittersweet time, but that she’s learned so much from her experiences there.

“I actually said to my husband the other day, you know — I just recently did another job — and I said, I can’t believe how much I learned from Mad Men. I feel like it was like going to the best acting school ever. I just felt like I had grown quite a bit, and the confidence that it’s given me and the skills and tools I’ve gotten from it has been incredible,” Christina said.

Hendricks and her husband, actor Geoffrey Arend, recently moved back to New York so that he could be close to work, although the change in atmosphere from their former city–L.A.–makes Hendricks want to stay in where it’s warm.

“We live here now. We’re New Yorkers again. It’s kind of fun. We’re freezing our a**es off! I’m a hermit!” Hendricks said at a recent show during New York Fashion Week.

Hendricks has been a busy lady of late. With several projects on the horizon, she’s reuniting with director Nicolas Winding Refn for the Neon Demon, which also stars Keanu Reeves, Elle Fanning, Jena Malone, and Abbey Lee. Hendricks and Refn previously worked together on Drive.

Christina Hendricks will also be starring in the Showtime original Roadies, and is taking on the Gillian Flynn adaptation Dark Places. The Neon Demon is perhaps the most mysterious of them all, with the director giving few clues as to what the story will be about.

“One morning I woke and realized I was both surrounded and dominated by women. Strangely, a sudden urge was planted in me to make a horror film about vicious beauty. After making Drive and falling madly in love with the electricity of Los Angeles, I knew I had to return to tell the story of The Neon Demon,” Refn said.
