‘Real Housewives Of New York City’ Season 7: Sonja Morgan On Bethenny Frankel’s Return

The Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan spoke out about the upcoming seventh season, and Bethenny Frankel’s return, in a new interview on Tuesday night.

“We really have strong relationships going now with the other half of the cast that joined the old veterans,” Morgan said on February 17 at the launch of her Summer 2015 capsule collection and jewelry line.

Ahead of Season 7 filming, creator Andy Cohen brought Frankel back to The Real Housewives of New York City after three seasons without her.

“Bethenny is great. I think we needed a little jolt in there!”

Last season, fans watched as Morgan and her co-star, LuAnn de Lesseps, had a falling out. After being demoted after Season 5, de Lessseps continued to appear on the show, albeit in a lesser role, and caused just as much drama as the full-time wives after she left a party with Morgan’s then-boyfriend, Harry Dubin.

Luckily, the pair have since made amends.

“We’re cool. I know we’ll always be friends. No man can come between us!”

Following the end of her relationship with Dubin, who is the ex-husband of the recently booted Aviva Drescher, Morgan began dating 24-year-old model Dominik Persy, and hopes her close friend, Ramona Singer, will soon join her with a new relationship of her own.

“I think the men will find Ramona just fine. That’s the problem: we have to beat these guys off! They’re everywhere!”

In addition to filming the upcoming season of the Bravo reality series, Morgan has been hard at work on her Sonja Morgan New York brands, which include a summer 2015 capsule collection featuring sportswear, evening wear, swimwear, and jewelry.

“I’ve been wearing fine jewelry for quite a long time. I like good quality and I like the jewelry to represent me, my personality, which is good value and to have long lasting value that stays with you. And I like to think of it as heritage pieces even though they’re affordable. We make it so if you do buy it, you could have it forever, but it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Frankel spoke out about seventh season of The Real Housewives of New York City this week, as well.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” she told KQED. “I want the show to be good and successful, but the only way for that to be the case is if I’m real and honest and to be who I am.”

The Real Housewives of New York City will return to Bravo later this year.
