Britt Nilsson Talks ‘Bachelor’ Regrets And Chris Soules’ Hometown With Jimmy Kimmel

Britt Nilsson has generated a lot of buzz on ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 season. She was definitely a frontrunner for much of the season, but after some tense moments in Iowa, Chris Soules sent her home in Monday’s episode. On Tuesday night, Britt chatted with Jimmy Kimmel on his show and dished out a bit of scoop on her experience on the show.

As People shares, Britt Nilsson says during her chat with Kimmel that ultimately she thinks she’s the only person who was actually honest about Chris Soules’ hometown of Arlington, Iowa. She says she told Chris she was shocked about the town, which she was, and she said she doesn’t think Chris really even lives there.

Britt says she thinks that while Arlington is where Soules is from, it’s not where he really spends his days these days. Granted as TMZ shares, some Arlington residents feel that their town was misrepresented on the show and that it’s a nicer area than it was edited to appear.

As viewers saw, Carly Waddell had some strong feelings about Britt that really came to a head in these past couple of episodes. Britt says she had no idea that Carly felt so strongly about her. The first Britt knew of this came as she watched the episodes. Most would imagine that there will be a lot of time spent on this pairing in the “Women Tell All” filming taking place on February 21.

When asked if she was glad that Carly was sent home too, Nilsson simply went with a “no comment.” As for regrets during her time on the Bachelor 2015 season, Britt says that the way she processed her emotions out loud during that last date is something she definitely wishes she did differently. She says she wishes she had kept all that to herself.

What will Britt say to Chris during the “Women Tell All”? She says she wonders if his perspective on her has changed now that he’s seen more about Carly’s attitude toward her. Soules said in his blog this week, though, that Carly’s words on that group date weren’t necessarily that instrumental in his decision to send Britt home.

Rather, Chris wondered more and more if Britt was being sincere and he felt that she might be putting on a performance for him. It will be interesting to see if he sticks with that perspective when facing Britt at the “Women Tell All” taping.

Naturally Britt was asked about becoming the Bachelorette 2015 star. She pretty clearly would be very open to it and many think she should definitely get the gig. As Reality Steve notes, however, it doesn’t seem to be a done deal yet and some think that the opportunity could potentially go to Kaitlyn Bristowe instead.

Despite some controversy, many Bachelor 2015 fans love Britt and hope they’ll see her again doing something else within the franchise. Was Nilsson edited unfairly and were the other bachelorettes crossing the line in their treatment toward her? Fans definitely seem to either adore Britt Nilsson or not care for her, perhaps more than is typical with this show. As for where she’ll pop up next now that Chris Soules has eliminated her, for now fans will have to stay tuned.
