Will Porsha Williams Be The Next ‘Real Housewives’ Star On ‘Dancing With The Stars’?

Porsha Williams is hoping to land a spot on the 20th season of Dancing With The Stars. As she and the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta continue to star in Season 7, Williams has her sights set on the reality dancing competition.

On February 17, Reality TV Magazine reported Williams’ interest in joining the show.

“Porsha Williams wants to join the rapidly growing group of DWTS alums in the Real Housewives universe.”

Although the official cast announcement won’t be made until next week, there have been several rumors swirling online. On Facebook, celebrities, including Ross Lynch, Roseanne Barr, and Chris Soules, have been named as potential celebrity dancers. On Twitter, Porsha Williams has been attracting attention.

“Her Twitter followers believe that she would be the perfect addition to DWTS. One loyal supporter even advised producers to add Porsha to the cast list, as he was convinced that she would ‘bring sass to the dance floor.'”

“Porsha has been quick to add fuel to the fire, speaking at length about the reality competition with her good pal Rickey Smiley,” the site continued.

“The other day, Porsha and Rickey went so far as to film an audition video, which, although very silly, proved that Porsha would by no means be the worst Real Housewives dancer on DWTS. She could, at minimum, outdance NeNe Leakes and Lisa Vanderpump.”

In addition to Leakes and Vanderpump, Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa also appeared on the series.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Porsha Williams’ future with The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently up in the air, as the show hasn’t officially been renewed. However, if the show does return, Williams expects to return to her role as a full-time housewife.

In an interview with Radar Online, Williams claimed she was ready for a bigger role on the show’s possible eighth season.

Last week, Dancing With The Stars‘ Season 20 professional dancers were named on Good Morning America. On March 16, the new season will premiere at 8 p.m. on ABC with dancers, including Mark Ballas, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Allison Holker, Kym Johnson, Peta Murgatroyd, and Emma Slater.

Noticeably absent from the list of professionals was Karina Smirnoff, who has been featured on the show for the last several seasons.
