NeNe Leakes Talks Bethenny Frankel, Vicki Gunvalson And Lisa Vanderpump
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes loves to talk about herself, her accomplishments and the contracts she signs to develop her personal brand. But NeNe wouldn’t be where she is today if it wasn’t for the housewives prior to her, who made the franchise a massive success.
Recently, NeNe Leakes sat down with Meredith Vieira to talk about her experiences on the show. And Leakes revealed that she actually prefers what the shows used to be with the wives, who everyone knows. This includes the original cast from New Jersey, New York and Orange County.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is now revealing that her favorite housewives are actually those who helped make the franchise what it is today. Of course, Vicki Gunvalson is one housewife, who has been on the show since it began years ago, back when the show had a different working title.
“I don’t watch the Housewives honestly, so I would just have to choose people that I used to watch years ago,” NeNe Leakes revealed, adding to the list, “Caroline [Manzo], Gretchen [Rossi], Ramona [Singer], Jill [Zarin], Bethenny [Frankel], Kyle [Richards], Lisa [Vanderpump]. Vicki [Gunvalson] because she’s been there for like ever and a freakin’ day.”
In her list, NeNe Leakes mentioned Lisa Vanderpump, but didn’t mention Brandi Glanville. And since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently centered around this friendship, Meredith asked NeNe about the conflict. As for NeNe, she doesn’t take sides. She is only about herself in every situation.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes seems to be very excited to see Bethenny Frankel return to The Real Housewives of New York. As for NeNe, she could be thinking about moving away from Bravo. According to the Inquisitr, Leakes continues to sign contracts for new business ventures, including a recent stint on Broadway.
“Broadway it fulfills me,” NeNe Leakes revealed, adding, “It gives me something that reality [television] would never give me. Reality is just a whole different ball thing. It’s a bunch of nastiness. It’s a bunch of snatching wigs and weaves off and being shady. And that also takes a talent.”
NeNe’s comments could be seen as a diss to the newer housewives, including Kenya Moore and Claudia Jordan, as they have joined the show over the past couple of a years.
