A huge match-up in the 2015 ICC Cricket World cup is on the way, and it will pit England vs. New Zealand. England has to do something to get out of the cellar in Pool A, and New Zealand is hoping to continue their dominance and gain a third straight victory. There will be options for watching the game stream live online so you don’t miss a minute of the action.
This will be match 9 in the Cricket World Cup, and the action has already heated up between numerous teams.
New Zealand recently beat Scotland by three wickets and kind of limped into a victory after dominating the match early on, per ESPN Cric Info. Things started out very nicely for New Zealand, but changed drastically between innings.
While they are winning their way through the World Cup so far, England has yet to pick up a victory after losing big to Australia in Match 2.
The Telegraph reported that England’s Moreen Ali knows the team has always had trouble with Australia, but he has faith for a better result against New Zealand.
“Australia have been very tough for us. Since we’ve been here they have beaten us every single time,” Moeen Ali said. “Now we don’t face them for a while I think getting a win and backing it up with another – we haven’t had back-to-back wins so far – we can get on a roll and we will be good. Obviously, the confidence goes down a little bit but we have got until Friday to work hard and try and get some confidence back in the nets. If we can play well against New Zealand and get the result I am sure everyone in the camp will be very confident.”
Over 34,000 fans are expected at Wellington Regional Stadium which is known as the “Cake Tin,” and it’s going to be a wild atmosphere. England will have to deal with a strong New Zealand team and the opposing crowd that will be on them all day.
The match between England vs. New Zealand is scheduled to begin at 14:00 local time, and 01:00 GMT, on Friday, February 20, at Wellington Regional Stadium in New Zealand.
ESPN will begin online streaming at 7:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 19, but that is just one option to watch England vs. New Zealand live. ESPN does charge a fee to watch all of the matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, so be aware of that.
