Syndicate getting a co-op demo next week

Chances are, if you’ve been keeping up on the news for Starbreeze Studio’s Syndicate remake you’ve already seen the game’s four-player co-op in action. But if you’d rather play it, you’ll soon be able to do just that.

EA sent word over the weekend that a Syndicate co-op demo is on the way, and it will allow you and up to three pals to experience one of the game’s nine missions, some of which EA says were inspired by levels from the original Syndicate.

The mission you’ll be playing, dubbed “Western Europe”, will have you and your friends infiltrating rival syndicate Cayman Global, where you and your team will then be tasked with assassinating Colonel Enrico Gabron and stealing his technology blueprints.

The demo will make its way to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on January 31 in North America. Europe will be getting it on Xbox Live on January 31 as well, but PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait until February 1 to get their hands on the Syndicate co-op demo.

Syndicate is set for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 starting February 21 in North America, February 24 in Europe. You can check out a trailer for the Syndicate co-op demo below.
