Jessa Duggar Pregnant? ’19 Kids’ Promo Could Hint At Big Baby News
Jessa Duggar just might announce that she’s pregnant sometime during this season of 19 Kids and Counting — a promo for the TLC show seems to hint that Jill and Jessa are both with child.
The upcoming season of 19 Kids and Counting will focus heavily on Jill Duggar’s pregnancy and Jessa Duggar’s wedding, so it’s not that surprising that the sisters and their respective husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, are the only stars of the show featured in the Facebook photo below.
As you can see, the caption of the Facebook promo mentions “new babies,” even though Jill is supposedly the only pregnant woman in the picture. The Stir speculates that the mention of more than one baby might mean that Jessa Duggar is also pregnant. While it is true that Josh Duggar and his wife Anna are also expecting, it’s important to point out they aren’t pictured in the promo.
Of course, it’s always possible that TLC didn’t put that much thought into the promo. It also mentions “new husbands,” and Derick Dillard isn’t all that new — he and Jill Duggar were married during the last season of 19 Kids and Counting.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa Duggar did recently say that she and Ben Seewald are looking forward to becoming parents. Jessa told Celebrate Arkansas magazine that she and Ben are praying about parenthood and that they’re also considering adopting a child. Jessa said that she’s the nonconformist of the family, so she might surprise everyone by deciding to adopt before she has a biological child.
Jessa Duggar’s talk about having kids began months before she and Ben Seewald announced that they were engaged last August. During an April, 2014, interview with People, Jessa revealed that she wants to follow in her parents’ footsteps by creating a large family.
“We both want to have a big family,” says Jessa.
“We are talking about our goals and the future with family. We have both talked about adoption and want to adopt, too.”
This kind of pre-engagement talk would scare many men off, but Ben Seewald knew what he was getting into when he proposed to a Duggar. He even endured a kiss-free courtship full of nothing but side-hugs and longing glances to win Jessa’s hand.
If Jessa and Ben decide to expand their family soon, it will be a while before fans get to meet their first child — TLC is just now getting around to airing the couple’s wedding. The 19 Kids and Counting promo below features a few glimpses of Jessa Duggar’s wedding day, as well as Jill’s pregnancy announcement.
