Is ‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice A Bad Influence On Her Children?

Is RHONJ star Teresa Giudice a bad influence? According to a new report, the Bravo reality star isn’t setting a good example for her daughters.

On January 5, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star entered into a 15-month prison term at the federal correctional facility in Danbury, Connecticut. The sentence was given to her during a hearing last fall after she and her husband, Joe, pleaded guilty to charges of bank and wire fraud. During the same hearing, Joe was sentenced to 41 months behind bars.

Now that she’s behind bars, a report has claimed that the RHONJ star is failing to properly inform her children of the ramifications of her crimes.

“Teresa is doing a horrible job with her daughters in terms of teaching them about what a serious thing jail is,” a source told Real Mr. Housewife on February 11. “She is making it seem to her daughters that jail is no big deal.”

“The fact that her oldest daughter, Gia, claimed to press that Teresa wore makeup to their first jail visit? That alone says it all right there. She’s giving them the impression that atoning for your sins is easy.”

“Teresa should be teaching them that if you do something wrong you have to pay for it, and that jail is not an easy thing. However, in true Teresa form, she has kept up her strong facade and passed the message along to her daughters that prison is easy and fun.”

According to the source, Teresa’s four daughters are “young impressionable girls” who need solid morals in place.

Although it is hard to tell how many visits the children have attended, only two have been reported to press. Since the family lives in New Jersey and the girls are currently in school, it isn’t exactly an easy feat for them to travel regularly to Connecticut.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the RHONJ star is reportedly writing a tell-all book about her time behind bars. In an interview with Life & Style, Strategic Vision CEO David Johnson claimed Teresa would get between $200,000 to $1 million for the book.

If the 42-year-old reality star does publish a book behind bars, it won’t be her first. As fans will recall, Teresa has written three New York Times bestseller cookbooks, Skinny Italian, Fabulicious and Fabulicious: Fast & Fit.

RHONJ‘s Joe Giudice will begin his 41-month prison term when Teresa’s sentence is complete.
