‘Real Housewives’ Star Yolanda Foster Feels ‘Blessed’ Despite Lyme Disease Struggles

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster recently updated her fans on social media with a positive post about her day-to-day life.

On February 13, Foster shared a photo on Instagram of the sunrise, and wrote a special message to fans.

“Every Day is a new Day, take a deep breath and start again #NoteToSelf I feel blessed this morning #GratitudeForLife #SunRiseSalutation.”

Since joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2012, Foster has struggled with Lyme disease, and sadly, things have only gotten worse in recent months. Early on in Season 5, the wife of music producer David Foster revealed she had suffered a Lyme disease relapse in a personal blog. In the weeks that followed, Foster traveled to Asia, where she hoped to receive treatments that weren’t yet available in the United States.

As for the drama going on with Foster on the show, there hasn’t been too much. Although her daughter, Bella, did receive a DUI during filming, the majority of the drama between cast members has stayed between Brandi Glanville and Kyle Richards.

Glanville and Richards have been feuding for weeks over the close relationship Glanville has with Richards’ sister, Kim. In one particular episode, which aired last month, Glanville and Richards were involved in a physical altercation at the home of Eileen Davidson after Glanville attempted to shield Richards from Kim.

In a deleted scene between Glanville and Kim, Glanville was seen suggesting Kim distance herself from Richards in order to teach her some respect.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Foster is expected to have a limited role on the upcoming Season 5 reunion for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“The reunion is scheduled to be filmed in the next couple of weeks and Yolanda’s participation will likely be very limited,” an insider told Radar Online earlier this month. “Contractually, cast members are all required to participate, but if Yolanda wasn’t able to do it because of the Lyme disease, she obviously wouldn’t be forced.”

“Yolanda does want to do it because she is always so professional about work commitments. The main issue with Yolanda’s health is the constant fatigue, and serious memory issues. Recently, Yolanda has had trouble just forming sentences, and sometimes can’t clearly articulate what she is trying to say.”

For more Yolanda Foster, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
