Mark Wahlberg Apologizes For 9/11 Comments

Yesterday afternoon The Inquisitr reported the insensitive remarks made by action star Mark Wahlberg.

Well now he’s seeing his errors by telling TMZ that he’s not above apologizing for his remarks. “To suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible.”

Mark Wahlberg admits he might of spoke too soon by saying, “To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with.”

Mark adds, “I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention.”

The apology comes straight off the heels of the widespread news, and abrasive reactions towards the actor.

9/11 widow Kim Trudel, of Massachusetts who lost her husband on flight 175, came forward after hearing the remarks made by the Boston native stating, “I think that’s a very heroic statement to make, but at the same time it’s a little bit naive and perhaps insensitive or ill-informed.”

“There were people on board the flights that tried to overtake the hijackers, but the hijackers had months and years to plan that event and there was no way someone on board the plane in a very short period of time could have overtaken them and then landed the plane safely.”

Giving Wahlberg the benefit of the doubt she went on to say, that he may have survivor’s guilt.
