Sparkly Nailed Packers Fan, Casey Lewis, Blames Self for Packers Loss [Video]
Did the Green Bay Packers lose to the New York Giants because of lousy tackling? Poor officiating? No, it was because Green Bay Packers’ Fan Casey Lewis used sparkly nail polish.
Sound ridiculous? Well, Lewis typically paints her nails in Green Bay Packers’ green to help her team win. She also typically wears an Aaron Rodgers jersey. But last Sunday Casey Lewis did the unthinkable. She put on a Clay Matthews jersey and painted her nails sparkly. Obviously, she caused the Packers to break down and lose to the Giants.
In an interview with the Star Tribune, Casey admits that she’s not sure why she changed her routine. Casey said:
“That’s a question I’ve really been struggling with lately. Megan (her sister) said Clay’s your man, you have to support him. So I made the decision to do that, and I really regret it. But it was a jersey I got for my birthday.”
Michael Rand, who conducted the interview, tried to convince Casey that her nails had nothing to do with the Packers loss. But Casey isn’t so sure. The Packers fan said:
“You can keep telling me that, but I don’t know if I’ll believe it.”
And Casey isn’t the only one blaming herself for the loss. Clay Matthews posted a link to the superstitious Packers fan’s now infamous video, saying “D_mn you and your sparkles!!”

If you’re wondering, yes, Casey had a few drinks before crying about the Packers loss. Her sister, who posted the video, writs on Youtube:
“Casey’s (my sister) reaction after we left the bar after the packers lost to the giants in the playoff game. we die for our team!”

That's so funny. I have this little bear beanie baby that sits in front of my tv and up until this year I was quite convinced that if anyone touched the bear it would cause the Packers to lose b/c every time the bear got touched they lost the following game. They went 15-1 this season and after like win 6 I started touching the bear because I knew that was a silly thing for me to think and since they hadn't lost… anyway I'm sure her nail polish and my bear touching didn't cause the team to lose, it was their inability to score more than the other team :p

Charles E Parker, you don't see me crying like a fool. The Packers lost, it was a hard loss, but don't associated one crying fool with all Packer Fans. Packers fans love their team, its obvious when their interteam scrimmage game is sold out EVERY YEAR, and when we drive to Green Bay to watch "our" team practice, we NEVER leave the game early because OUR team is losing. We are devoted Fans, and if you haven't hear the Packers are NOW Americans Favorite Team!

There was a perfect storm of unfortunate events that led to this hilarious video. She wore a different jersey, different nail polish, they lost, she's drunk and her sister has a phone and a youtube account.
I don't think she's an idiot, she's just a die hard fan. Some people commenting are so high and mighty like they've never done anything senseless while drunk. Get over yourselves.

Charles E Parker just because one does it, doesn't mean all Packer fans do it. So don't associate all Packer fans as crying babies. Packer fans are the best, we are the only NFL team that has Interteam scrimmage matches that are sold out. Packer fans don't leave the game until the game clock runs out, and most of all the Packers are now America's team.
