Remember Tonya Harding? The skater famous only for her role in taking out rival Nancy Kerrigan is back in the news to mark the 15th anniversary of the infamous event.
Harding appeared on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel Tuesday night to whine about how she’s done her time, and that people should leave her alone.
That’s all very well and good, but Harding hasn’t been shy in the past on trading on her infamy either, having released a sex video in 1994, and even appearing as a manager for a Pro Wrestler. She’s also not stayed out of trouble, having been charged and served time in 2000 on domestic violence charges, and has had multiple alcohol related incidents.

She should be left alone, IMO, and when she became notorious, what choice did she have but to trade on her notoriety to make a living?
She is not just famous for the Nancy Kerrigan incident. She was the first skater to land a triple lutz in competetion. What are you, 12?

Thanks very much * for what you wrote about Harding, because if Kerrigan has put the 'past' behind her it sure would be nice if others did as well. Then again, what exactly should we expect from those who've never been in this woman's shoes? It's so easy for us “humans” to call names and do other things we have no right doing, especially since we were never there in the first place, but why should this be any different? “Casting those stones” must really make people feel good until they get a few of them thrown in 'their' direction, then they want 'others' to have compassion on 'them' as well. And yes, she was the female skater in the U.S. to land that “triple lutz”, but I guess that doesn't matter either now in the scheme of things huh?
I wish Nancy Kerrigan and her family nothing but the best, and thank God that she was able to move on. As for Tanya, I hope and pray that she will look to God for the mercy and compassion that she needs, and that 'He' will in turn surround her with people who can lead her in a positive direction and love her 'in spite of' the circumstances. Thanks once again for your 'insightful' comment.

why would tanya..complain. she has had a career..and still does on tv's worlds dummbest criminals. she has a nice home..is fed well..etc..what is she complaning about..she has a lot more than a lot of other americans do..and wish they did.
