Kandi Burruss On Devastating News: Foreclosures, Vomit, And Sadness

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss got some devastating news on Sunday’s episode of the show, as she learned that her play, A Mother’s Love, would not be continuing to tour around the country, despite having a great opening night in Atlanta. Burruss was shocked, and she shed some tears while trying to work through her emotions. But Kandi wasn’t sad because her show would be coming to an end.

In fact, there were many things that fans didn’t see. Kandi Burruss is now revealing that she actually thought more about the people who worked behind the scenes. When Burruss announced the news to her team, they were laughing and joking about why the tour got cancelled. But there were some raw emotions that were never shown on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss is now revealing that people got physically sick over hearing the news.

“Of course it was a dream of mine to take the show on the road and I wanted to see that happen, but that wasn’t the main reason that I was devastated. What tore me up inside was the fact that there were a lot of people that were going to lose a job because of this. We were supposed to be on the road for about three or four months,” Kandi Burruss reveals, adding that people had turned down other job offers to do this tour with her.

Kandi Burruss adds that she wanted people to feel secure in this job because she expected it to be a great experience. Given how well the show was selling in Atlanta, it surprised her that the sales were not as great once the show got on the road.

“I had to tell my cast and crew that the show was being cancelled. I saw a grown man cry in front of me, because he was depending on this to get his home out of foreclosure. One girl threw up because she was so upset that she quit her job for the opportunity to be in this show. I was sick, because there was nothing I could do to save the show,” Kandi reveals about the emotional ending to her touring dream.

Kandi Burruss had hired a promoter to license the tour, but he supposedly ran out of spare cash. The idea was that ticket sales would push the play forward. But that didn’t go as expected. As for Kandi, she has often said that she doesn’t play the middle, according to the Inquisitr. While she is sad about her play, Burruss is also upset about disappointing so many people.
