Harry Styles Has Big News, Does It Involve John Legend?
Harry Styles has some major news for all of his One Direction fans. The One Direction singer already surprised fans when he collaborated with blogger and singer Meghan Trainor earlier this year. Now Harry is going to collaborate with songwriter and soul crooner John Legend.
HeatWorld reported that One Direction fans were able to find a leak imaged of track information from official source American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). The pixilated photo showed a song titled “I Wasn’t Ready,” which was composed by John Legend and Harry Edward Styles.
Does that mean Styles will start singing love songs? One Direction fans won’t have to dream about it anymore. Legend is typically known for his love songs. His romantic song “All of Me” was a hit in 2013 and 2014. In fact, it became the best-selling song of 2014 in the U.S. with 4.67 million copies sold for the year. Not to mention, it became a huge hit around Valentine’s Day.
One Direction fans will be picturing Harry crooning to them over the radio. It’ll be interesting to see how a Harry Styles/John Legend song would work. Harry looks like he wants to become the next Mick Jagger, not the next John Legend.
Styles and Legend isn’t the only collab that’s happening these days. Meghan Trainor recently confirmed the duet that she was working on with Styles. Harry Edward Styles and Meghan Elizabeth Trainor’s names were spotted in the credit’s section of a song called “Someday Maybe,” SugarScope reported.
Meghan also hinted to MTV News that she’s working on a song with Harry.
“I wrote a song in London called ‘London Lights’ and everyone is like, ‘oh, is this the song?’ No, not at all. Our song is called ‘Someday Maybe’ and… someday, maybe, you’ll hear it.”
Trainor did not comment whether or not if it would make it on her next album or on Styles’ rumored solo album.
She responded, “It’s a duet between a boy and a girl, so we’re not sure yet.”
Meghan is not doing a good job denying her romance with Harry. The singer said that they are just friends, according to a report on the nquisitr. Despite the rumors, Meghan said she would love to work with Harry again in the near future, maybe on the next One Direction album.
The Harry Styles rumors continue. The Daily Star said that Harry is looking to buy a winery in California near David Beckham’s vineyard. He wants to create wines that “rival those of French chateaus.” Can you see Harry Styles making his own wines and singing crooner songs?
