‘RHOBH’ Season Five: Kim Richards Confronted By Lisa Rinna Over Addiction Issues [VIDEO]
Will RHOBH season five include an intervention? In a February 10 sneak peek at next week’s episode, the cast of the show is seen discussing their individual concerns about Kim Richards’ ongoing addiction issues.
For the past few episodes of RHOBH season five, Richards has seemed more like the woman fans saw during seasons one and two rather than her post-rehab self, but did she relapse during filming? While Richards recently insisted she is strong in her sobriety, many of her co-stars have their doubts – even her close friend Brandi Glanville.
“I just recently started feeling funny about having even a glass of wine in front of Kim,” Glanville was seen telling Jennifer Gimenez.
In another scene, Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump were seen commenting on Richards during a drive.
“It’s not necessarily our place to stage an intervention,” Rinna noted.
“We can’t do something like that. We don’t even know,” Vanderpump added.
However, Rinna, who has dealt with addiction within her family, knows something has to be done, and later wondered, “Why is everyone scared of Kim Richards?”
“You can get help,” Rinna later told Richards. “You can talk to people.”
Sadly, Richards wasn’t receptive.
“People need to mind their own beeswax.”
As the Inquisitr reported last month, Richards spoke of her recovery in a January 21 blog for Bravo.
Revealing what caused her strange behavior during RHOBH season five’s poker night at Eileen Davidson’s home, Richards wrote the following:
“Before the poker party took place, I had been struggling with bronchitis and pneumonia for weeks. I went to the doctor several times because I was in so much pain, so I really was in no shape to go to the spa day or poker night. And I definitely didn’t want to go out when Monty came back to the house before poker night after being gone for a couple days. I just wanted to stay at home with him, but I had to go to Eileen’s with the girls. I took the pain medication from Monty thinking it can get me through the pain I was experiencing. Little did I know, it just made me kind of out of it! But seriously, if I knew the medication was going to affect me in a negative way, I would have NEVER taken it. Careless decision on my part—lesson learned!”
“Because of my history, some people will automatically assume one thing, even though they have seen nothing but strength and courage in my sobriety for the last three years.”
RHOBH season five airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
