‘RHONJ’ Joe and Melissa Gorga Have Yet To Visit Teresa Giudice In Prison

After a month in prison, Teresa Giudice apparently has yet to see all of her family. A source told All About The Real Housewives that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star has not seen Joe and Melissa Gorga, her brother and sister-in-law, since she began her prison sentence in early January.

“Melissa and Joe Gorga have yet to visit Teresa Giudice. They have briefly spoken to her while she’s been in prison but Teresa hasn’t expressed any interest for them to visit while the Gorga’s [sic] haven’t made any effort to visit.”

After Melissa and Joe joined the show, Teresa’s relationship with them deteriorated. Finally, after several seasons of arguing and feuding, Teresa, prior to the last season, mended her relationship with her brother and even became cordial to Melissa. Yet, it seems that Teresa’s still not as close to her brother and sister-in-law as some may think.

The source also spilled about how Teresa is doing behind bars.

“She’s great and she looks incredible. She’s working out and remaining positive and hasn’t had any trouble thus far.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Teresa’s husband, Joe Giudice, and their daughters first visited her during her second week in prison. The family’s initial plan to visit Teresa a few days after she entered prison was canceled because they didn’t want to disrupt the girls’ activities that weekend.

In an interview with Access Hollywood after visiting her mom, 14-year-old Gia Giudice said that her father, who will serve his sentence after Teresa finishes hers, was being “the rock” of the family and that her mom was doing “amazing.” She also talked about her and her three siblings keep in touch with their mom.

“We can talk to her on a daily [basis] and we have access to e-mailing her whenever we want. So that’s amazing. It definitely helps with like coping with missing her and stuff.”

It remains to be seen whether the show that made Teresa Giudice famous, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, will continue on without her. Some reports say that the producers are casting for Teresa’s replacement[s] while other reports say that they are waiting until she gets out of prison, which will happen in early 2016, to shoot the next season. Yet, there has been no official word from the producers.

In a response to a fan’s recent question regarding the status of the show, executive producer Andy Cohen would only say that they haven’t filmed yet for the upcoming season.

One person who would be fine if producers decided to end The Real Housewives of New Jersey because of Teresa Giudice’s prison drama is Melissa Gorga. She recently debunked reports that claim that she and Joe Gorga are worried about losing their livelihood by reminding everyone that Joe actually works a real job outside of the show.
