Rihanna said to be appalled by Chris Brown Statement

Rihanna is reported to be appalled by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown’s apology for attacking her.

Brown issued a statement late last week, expressing how “how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired.”

“All of us, including Rihanna, don’t understand how he can say he’s sorry on the one hand, but still … does not admit any guilt. He should have expressed more contrition,” a source tells the Chicago Sun-Times. The same source said that Rihanna’s initial reaction to the statement was that the beaten singer was “appalled.”

Rihanna remains in hiding in Barbados, recovering from her injuries with family and friends.
