Jada Pinkett Smith’s ‘Magic Mike’ Role Helped Will Smith Get Buff, But Jaden Bummed Over Grammy Snub [Video]

When Will Smith landed his role in Focus, he recognized that he needed to get buff. And he had all the motivation that he needed right at home when his wife Jada Pinkett Smith landed her own role in Magic Mike XXL with a boatload of beefcake, reported Entertainment Tonight.

But Will was up to the challenge.

“You got to be a lot of man to handle a lot of woman like that. So I felt really confident when she was going into that set, into that situation. I just had to make sure she had some beefcake at home too.”

In Focus, the 46-year-old actor portrays a con man wooing 23-year-old Margot Robbie. Will admitted that he was painfully aware of the age difference.

“Jada kept saying boy that girl is 23, do not go on that set out of shape,” said Will.

As the Inquisitr reported, Jada is devoted to her own fitness regime. At 43, she makes time to do both cardio and toning exercises. Rather than use heavy weights, Jada goes for more repetitions with lighter weights, while stair-walking is her chosen method of blasting calories while toning her legs and derriere.

With such famous parents, what’s life like for Jaden Smith and Willow Smith? Seeing Kanye West trumps any excitement that their parents can drum up, reported the Daily Mail.

The Close Encounter of the Kanye Kind came when Jaden and Willow were attending the Roc Nation and Three Six Zero Pre-Grammy brunch in Beverly Hills.

“I saw Kanye,” yelled Jaden excitedly when he saw the rap star.

But although his pre-Grammy parties pleased him, Jaden wasn’t so thrilled when he discovered that he had not received a much-coveted invitation to the Grammy Awards itself, reported GigWise.

Although he is only 16-years-old, Jaden already has earned a reputation on his own as an actor and rapper. He unveiled a new album, This Is The Album, and also worked with Justin Bieber. So figuring that he deserved to be invited to the award ceremony, Jaden took to Twitter to express his outrage.

And for reasons unknown, Jaden decided that he should have been given the seat that Shia LaBeouf filled.

“Shia LaBeouf Was At The Grammys Man Really I Couldn’t Take The Place Of One Seat Filler,” tweeted Jaden.

Jaden’s album was released on Feb. 5, consisting of three songs, reported Ace Showbiz. He tweeted his announcement to his followers.

OHH MY GOD JADEN SMITH DID SOMETHING CRAZY

The songs include “Scarface,” “4 My 1,” and “Weekend in Atlantis.” They were produced by Daniel D’artiste, who also works with Willow.

In addition, Jaden shared a new music video. It is designed to accompany “4 My 1.” Highlights include Jaden rapping in different locations, as well as a cameo from his friend Justin Bieber.

As for his sister Willow, no word on how she feels about the Grammy Awards. Instead, she created her own controversy with her modeling choices as the Inquisitr reported.

Willow recently posed in a sweater that made her look topless, posting it to Instagram. That brouhaha followed her decision photo controversy in 2014, which showed the then-13-year-old in bed with a shirtless 20-year-old actor.

Jada Pinkett Smith was quick to respond to the criticism of her daughter, reported the New York Daily News.

“Here’s the deal. There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it. You’re acting like covert pedophiles and that’s not cool.”
