Angry Camille Grammer Found Out Ex Kelsey Was Expecting Twins in Golden Globes Announcement, Too

At Sunday night’s Golden Globes Award show, ex-Frasier star Kelsey Grammer stunned the audience with an announcement that he and new wife Kayte Walsh were expecting twins.

The surprise wasn’t just to the general public, however- Grammer also shocked his ex-wife Camille Grammer and their two children with the reveal. The pair’s divorce has been contentious, and custody and financial arrangements are still in dispute despite Kelsey’s remarriage to former flight attendant Walsh. It’s probably no surprise that the pair are expecting, either, as Walsh suffered a miscarriage early in their relationship- her father revealed the pregnancy to the media, outing the couple as a couple- but the former Mrs. Grammer believes her ex-husband isn’t exercising due discretion in revealing these tidbits to his family.

Camille says the kids are old enough to watch their dad on TV and understand, and even when not watching, she says kids at school let slip bits of gossip they pick up. She huffs:

“It’s so unfortunate that he still talks about private matters. It’s hurtful to me and its disrespectful to our children. He’s not thinking of the kids when he’s doing stuff like that. My daughter is 10 years old, so she’s able to watch. She’s aware of what’s going on. She hears it from her friends at school, but my son is too young. He’s still only seven. Still, I think it’s disrespectful.”

The Huffington Post reports that a source remarked:

“Camille and the children had no idea. They found out about it from the media. Once again, selfish Kelsey decided to do what’s best for him with no concern for his current children. He needs to stop talking about his private life in public. It’s very hurtful for the children he already has.”

If true, it would certainly seem that Grammer should be a bit more delicate when dropping such major bombs on school children. Do you think Grammer should have told his kids before telling the whole world?

    Who cares it's his life he whould be able to tell who ever when ever he wants not his former wife. She needs to get over it. She has no control over it.

    Sorry, I don't agree. He has a daughter that is 10 and is old enough to feel like she is about to be displaced by the new babies. It would have been more fatherly of him to take her aside and tell her about the babies and give her the reassurance a young girl that needs that no matter what – she will always be "daddy's girl". Just a little tenderness would have helped.

    this coming from a woman who has pictures of herself naked all over the internet….i would rather my kids find out I'm having more kids on the internet than find pictures of me naked on the internet.

    I don't care for Kelsey Grammer — he acts as if he has no other family and that this woman is the end all be all of everything in his life. I'm glad he's happy but have some respect for your other children and learn to filter.

    People, its not about his former wife Camille, its about his Children, remember them? but then again 1/2 of you all are from broken homes so who give a hoots huh. At least be a little more sensitive towards HIS CHILDERN.

    Just another of our country's messed up families…Kelsey's behavior was completely insensitive to his current children. Why are we acting surprised?
